It is most likely nothing but Ouch!
I've had the same thing at two weeks then at 4 weeks. Certain twists or getting up the wrong way and the pain was really bad for about 6 days then it leaves. I think it is something that I pulled like an inside stitch or muscle. I met someone who had the same thing she said don't worry it all went away. I don't know if this is what ur experiencing or not. Do let ur Dr. know. and let me know how u r.

Almost 5 weeks out!
:001_rolleyes:Just wanted to add a side note to you. I've seen a couple of your postings about your fear. If everything has fallen into place for you, then I feel this will be your path too. Could some of the fear be some of that 'ol self sabatoge? I've always excelled in that area, but for once in my life I decided to follow fate and see where it takes me. So far so good. I just take things One day at a time. It makes life & goals so much more attainable!!! Join us on the losers bench!!!

2 days to go and quietly freaking out
You all will do so well! I was sleeved on May 18th and have had very little issues with my sleeve. I stopped losing on week 3 which freaked me out but today almost the end of week 4 I've lost 4 lbs. and have read more on how to change eating habits to "work my sleeve" I'm feeling really well! Good luck and keep us posted! Sheryl

It seems like about every 2 hours I am hungry.
I just read today and my Dr. also advises 3 meals and try not to snack. Eat your protein first min. of 20=25 gms and then veggies, fruit. Quit drinking 15 min prior to eating and wait 30" post meal to drink and one website said 90". That way you make the sleeve work for you and don't wash away the protein and feel hungry so early. This is what I'm trying now. If I snack it's usually sugar free!:001_wub:

Back from surgery...FOrest Park Med Center
l'm sorry you met someone so insensitive as that. People forget everyone's experience with this can be very different. I've been blessed with no complications, but at week 3 my belly button & lower left incisions woke up! They're very painful and if I bend a certain way or get up to fast I get excrutiating pain. This is getting better and subsiding every day. I hope you are feeling better! The only thing I remind myself is "This, too, shall pass!":biggrin0: ps. I also had surgery at Forest Park, loved the experience there too!

Extreme Gas Pains
Hi All, I'm finishing up on my 3rd week. I had a few tiny thin fries friday night and a few bites of chicken on a skewer. Saturday I also had two tiny chicken nuggets from chick-fil-a. I am having extreme gas pains in my left lower quadrant. It has moved some, but I've been using gas x strips and moving and the pain continues!!!! Help!!!! Now I'm not getting fluids in because of the pain. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!! Thanks! p.s. Is this usual?

Creamy Jalapeno Sauce
Hi, We had our surgeries a day apart. This sounds really good, but I'd really like to know what all your eating. I haven't been near as creative as you. I've had tuna salad, egg salad, soup, protein drinks. Would you send me a quick line and let me know about a typical day of your food? Thanks, Sheryl

1 year out today
:crying::crying::001_wub:Tiffy, while reading this my eyes teared up because I could relate to the feelings you described of before your victories with the sleeve! You never know who's listening or who might hear exactly what they need to hear. You have touched my spirit over the last several months like no other human being! Thank you for your candor and pure humility throughout your journey. Not only are you an inspiration in my weight loss & living healthy journey, but also part of my "path of Happy Destiny"! You were beautiful when you started this journey but you've become an amazing spirit along the way! I hope you continue to grow as the days pass and can't wait to hear when your next dream in life comes to fruition! (I will crochet something for the new baby)! Love you Sister, Sheryl:seeya:

Yeah, ouch! first day post-op
Mine looks the same and is feeling better. Sandy (the RN practitioner) told me that's probably where they took the stomach out. She said her's went down, but not all the way. Luckily mine is in my waistline, so doesn't look too bad. What kind of pain meds are you using?
