  1. Previous posters are right... when I was on mushies I had a weak moment where I decided that fritos doused in jalepono cheese dip was a mushie as long as I chewed it up well.... OMG did I feel horrible after that (and it was just a little snack pak size fritos)... but I am 2 1/2 mths out and it does get easier
  2. pfrance... try and squeeze even 15mins in this week! That's what I did, started small and now I am adding five minutes a week... Even if you do a five minute march in place while watching TV or walk around the block....
  3. Congrats on the loss Froggie! I love this thread... you guys are totally motivating me (ok maybe I am biased since I started it ) Did 15 mins of glutes and hamstrings this am 20 mins of elliptical, 10 mins cycle this pm 75/175
  4. 15 minutes of legs in the am, 15 mins of yoga pm.... there is a muscle on my thigh/butt that I forgot I had and it HURTS!!!! Sandra- I don't get the push to fail... can you elaborate? BTW I am impressed with 60 on the elliptical I did 45 the other day and thought I was going to die!
  5. Congratulations!!! How exciting to see the scale finally move
  6. 20 minute walk, 40 minutes of Biggest Loser Cardio Max- holy crap that is a good workout!!! I need five minutes more for my goal - gonna do a quick WII workout this evening. Next week shooting for 175 decided to increase by five minutes a week. 165/170
  7. I was banded the 27th and have had two fills- going to get another in 2 weeks... Why isn't your doc giving you fills? I also do not have restriction and my weight loss has slowed to a crawl this last month... But I am working on it- trying to increase my exercise... trying to make healthier choices. I don't have the willpower that some of the ladies on this board do (kudos to them) so I understand how hard it is. Just keep focused on the prize and don't let the negative thinking take over. Even if you lose 5 lbs a month in 10 months thats 50 lbs!!!
  8. I had the same pains too around the same time you did. I never found out what it was but it did pass. Feel better!
  9. My neighbor had a similar problem. He lost all his weight plus more- was about a little over a year out- he then started throwing up and was unable to keep anything down. They found the band had slipped and actually had to have it removed.
  10. Thanks for your responses.... I got 1cc yesterday for a total of 6cc and I have minimal restriction... meaning I can't eat what I did pre-band but I sure can eat more than I am supposed to.
  11. I am curious when you felt restriction...
  12. 42 minutes on the elliptical this evening... and I am happy to report the five pounds I thought I gained was a fluke YEAH!!! 105/170
  13. 32 minutes today of WII fit again... Having a crappy day though I feel good but when I got on scale I gained 5lb! WTF.... Go for fill tomorrow will see if it is a fluke or not. I was so wanting a nice loss for the doc. 5lb in one day seems crazy I would of had to eat a house. 63/170
  14. Cigna sucks.... I used to have them and they played so many games to avoid approving my surgery... missing this... 90 days to review... missing this.... another 30 days.... totally awful.... they actually won the fight cause my insurance switched- new company approved it in one day.
  15. OK it is over 100 degrees here-- My apartment is ridiculously hot... I thin if I just sit here I will burn enough calories to make up for the fact that I am not exercising today LOL.... Glad to see everyone aboard! Juliansmom dont beat yourself up just jump back on the saddle...
  16. I cant type on the spreadsheet...
  17. Started a new thread... exercise goals #2... look forward to seeing everyone on there!
  18. The old thread was getting a bit large so thought I would start a new one! Hope everyone finds us.... Please join in! This is the third week of doing this and it has kept me accountable and most importantly moving!!! I did 31 minutes on the WII Fit today- aerobics and some strength yoga stretches.... 31/170
  19. I understand the home thing- home is the worst for me as well. I am in bandster hell and it is tough. I did a few things to help with this ... I got rid of the bad foods as much as I could, I post on here and hope that it passes and I exercise...
  20. Great post- I still have a long ways to go before I see many of these things but I did notice yesterday at church that I was making butt bone to pew contact- it was cool lol...
  21. G2 gatorade- 80 calories for 32 oz...
  22. My doc sent me home with pills for pain... I don't have any problems with any pills all- I take all my vitamins regular... I guess you have to see what works for you... I also don't have restriction yet so I realize this may change.
  23. My first one post op was terrible as well- I am one of those lucky people who barely gets a cramp... just some bloating and tiredness- well holy crap- All I could think was "This is what those Midol commercials are talking about" "This is why people complain"- I am happy to report that today I began my 2nd post op menses and while still crampier than I am used to it is nothing compared to that horrific first one!!!
  24. Jilly of course you can post here- anyone can! The more the merrier IMO! My surgeon said to walk as much as I could post op- was allowed back to gym with no restrictions after 6 weeks (I had hernia repair so weights would of been bad for that) Got 30 mins in today... so I am a little short on my goal- like 6 minutes I think... I will keep it the same for this the new week- 0/170 Windus I too am not losing even with the increased exercise- but its also that TOM--- I get a fill on Thursday so there should be three things going for me and I am anticipating a big loss soon!
