Countdown to last adjustment-UNFILL
doesnt sound like the best way to avoid a plateau (see http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f178/restriction-3-weeks-post-op-56317/ for reference...) sounds very unwise and borderline dangerously unhealthy.

Total Loss Goals - how did you decide?
- How did you pick your weight loss goal? it was a goal that i though i could make - Do you have the same goal you did when you started? nope, i just lowered by 20 pounds after my plastic surgery. i want to be within a 'normal' BMI - Did you go with the weight suggested by your clinic, or pick something higher or lower, and if so, why? i lowered it on my own. i now know without my pannus i can exercise to my fullest potential and knock the last X pounds off.

3wks post op and not losing weight
hi, welcome to LBT. the time post op is for HEALING and anchoring your band into place, not for weight loss. any weight loss is just a bonus. sounds like you are eating well, how is your movement? are you exercising at all? i know that really helped me post op. good luck.

Itchy scratchy incisions?
ahhh, just noticed you were in Australia - not sure if they carry it. the aveeno is not a lotion, its an anti-itch cream and it does not require a prescription.

Itchy scratchy incisions?
if you can use a cream, i found the Aveeno cream was gentle and effective. i used them for my plastic surgery itchies and it worked like a charm.

Compression PS garments - does the surgeon supply?
a binder is what my PS supplied ... hated every minute i was in it, but felt like my insides were going to fall out without it. day 10 he released me from it (wear it for your comfort is what he told me). i bought one from Compression Wear & Bodyshaping Clothing - Male & Female Girdles & Vests and they were the greatest. they custom make it for you if that's what you need and they are QUICK (and cheapest i found) my PS said after my 10 day appt that the garment was for comfort and i didnt have to wear it if i didnt want to... i find it helps GREATLY with swelling. i didnt wear it initially yesterday and looked about 4 months pregnant all day. even after i put it on about 1030am. i now only wear my binder if im really swollen but only around the house cause its ugly and cumbersome. i normally wear it OVER my clothes and that makes it a bit more comfortable, but not much. my PS garment is good. its a pain to get on, but once its on, it fits like a 2nd skin and keeps everything tight. it is VERY snug (see 2nd skin comment) though and at times gets too snug if i swell up. that's why i didnt wear it initially today cause yesterday it got really uncomfortable. now i'll just have to deal with it. it does not have to be removed for any bathroom needs and that is a good thing.
