  6. gee ... thanks a LOT. chai tea thru the nose hurts like a bitch!
  7. its not really a question... if your surgeon requires it, you just do it. the reason for the pre op diet is to shrink your liver. that makes it easier on the surgeon which ultimately makes it easier on you for recovery. its normally for a short time (usually no more than 2 weeks) and the surgeons vary greatly upon what they require. i could eat low fat meals twice a day, some people are liquids only. you can do it!!
  8. i really hope it clears itself up ... ok .. i KNOW it wont clear itself up, i will have to work on it. im starting a new official program Monday. why Monday? i dunno, cause i start things on Mondays...
  9. LMAO ... yeah, like a BP i should think M&Ms would work, they'll just be a tad darker ... ewww

  11. OMG. O.M.G... omg! take a quick look at someone's "custom user title"...
  12. congrats on getting a surgery date. i, too, would wait until you get with the dietician, all surgeons are different with their pre/post op diets. good luck
  13. hi welcome to LBT and good luck on your liquids and surgery. we've pretty much found that every surgeon is different in regards to pre and post op diets. just follow your surgeon and you should be great.
  14. dunno ... i've had it for quite some time (pre band)... just a fat pocket or something... i do notice when i lose/gain weight, i really notice it there... soooooo ... all i need to do is lose the weight.
  15. ok, i can understand (not like it but understand) the kids being little shits. but for adults to sit there and watch it, hell no. i, too, would call the district. if they dont fix it (move the stop up a block or something) then i honestly do not know what i'd do for fear of really crappy retribution.
  16. welcome to LBT. congrats on the loss so far and good luck with your surgery.
  17. i blog on blogspot.
  18. hi, welcome to LBT. this was one of the best decisions i've made for myself. good luck
  19. i circled the pooch/pouch and posted it ... it's an annoying little F'er... 3 days in the hospital ... ahhhhh, i would have loved to stay 3 days ... they pampered me. hopefully you will get the same treatment. and drains out on day 3 sounds good. thanks for the mahhhhvelous comment ... i just dont see it. all i see is the swelling and the work i still have to do ... and MOST days im ok with that... most days. i was originally scheduled for my unfill the day before my PS, but due to my stress levels i was so tight i couldnt even drink... so i just got the unfill early. they wouldnt completely fill me up right after, they wanted to do it under fluro and when it said i was done, i was done ... so i was missing 4cc's. went in yesterday to get it taken care of. hopefully that will help.
  20. HA ... i've actually gained about 3-4 pounds ... but the swelling wasnt bad last night... thanks
  21. you're going to get unfilled for vacation?
  22. i had to get unfilled due to my plastic surgery and as i walked out, i asked if i needed the liquids/mushy progression and she said no. so i went and had 1/2 a sandwich and it was fabulous!!
  23. oh dear... i was ROTF with that one... oh look, your mom forgot her WOMEN'S ONE A DAY vitamins ...
  24. can you take your pain meds at night? those usually knocked me out. but i was up probably every 4 or so hours...
