  1. hi, welcome to LBT!! :puke: the soreness should go away soon. congrats on being banded!
  2. i'll tell you what i DID ... :puke: i had an extended tummy tuck and lipo. my hip to waist ratio was grossly disproportionate. i didnt even worry about getting a panni, i went with the full TT because i wanted things tighter not just 'lobbed off' as the surgeon put it... good luck and congrats on the WL so far!!
  3. but shes NOT fat ... :puke:
  4. ok, now that is just :puke:
  5. "healthy", but stinky...
  6. sounds like good news Karey... keep us posted. how are you doing?
  7. yup, he did my lap band October 2006. no issues. he doesnt really do any follow up though.
  8. yeah ... try typing the spelled t e h ... it'll fix that too ... wooo hooo!
  9. thanks ladies.. except YOU! BITE YOUR TONGUE WOMAN!! yup all caps. my PS would have a fit (as would I)
  10. i just had plastics and im pretty sure it messed up my cycle ... who knows ... sorry no real help, just wanted to let you know you're not alone.
  11. LOL .... and not everyone goes through their band being so tight, they have serious issues.... once you receive proper restriction, it becomes much easier... hang in there, you can do it.
  12. LMP was 2/17 after miscarriage, lasted about a week. i had my TT on 2/29, still havent had TOM. just tested for HCG and it was negative (thank god - PS would not be pleased). how jacked up were your TOM's after plastics? were you back to 'normal' or were they really weird?? i KNOW if i dont start soon, i will have to see my OB, but i just wanted to get a general idea ...
  13. good luck on your 1/2 Julie!!
  14. sorry, i somehow missed the fact that you have your band although it's in a drawer. i dont think Alex meant for life after lap band support to mean trashing the band. im so glad that DS worked for you and you arent stinky, YAY!! sunshine and rainbows. maybe, Alex can create a i still have my band but its in a drawer somewhere forum...
  15. i guess my 160+ pounds lost means im not losing weight. really, Sue. you dont have a band, why are you here? if you dont like what we are saying on a lap band support board, go to OH... have fun over there ...
  16. my PS said the garment was for my comfort ... until my last visit then he suggested i wear it to help with swelling... im still VERY VERY swollen. i had my PS on 2/29
  17. i just saw this thread. how are you doing?
  18. best of luck to you on your consult.
  19. i cannot imagine 4-5 days! so sorry you wont be with DD for the first prom, but you'll be there (and in flatlands) for the 2nd.
  20. im so excited for you Lauren!!
  21. i guess i'll do it T, R, Sat this week... its just 3 days, right?
  22. it really all depends on how you react the the anasthesia (sp?????). it wiped me out the first few days. but when i was awake, i was awake...(and bored stupid in the hospital all alone - thank God i had LBT and my blog to post to!!!) with walking, it all depends on what you surgeon says... mine wanted me upright the day of surgery, but he used the progressive tension sutures... the nurses said most docs the day after surgery want you bent almost at a 90 degree angle.... check with your doc on when he thinks you'll be upright. im so excited for you!!
  23. lol ... i know, i was kidding... but i can imagine someone saying that ...
  24. i'll join you but with a very modified version ... my 'walking' will be about 1.5MPH and 'running' will be maybe 2MPH. doc hasnt cleared me for faster than that.
