I am going for my initial consult on Tuesday, 4/8, with Dr. Rosen in Downers Grove.

I can't wait to get this show on the road.

I can't wait to get contol of my life again.

I can't wait to be able to wear clothing without an XX on the size tag.

I have always had a struggle with my weight, since puberty.

Age 13 or so.

But, now that the hormones are really weird, with menapause, I can't control the weight at all. I am up 40# in the last 5 years. I am uncomfortable at this weight and need to do something about it.

I got it, Thanks...

Could you help me with the ticker download?

I can't seem to get that done. Just me I'm sure...

Thanks

Hello! I live in central Illinois and I'm having my surgery May 27th 2008 at Mercy Hospital. My doctor is Dr. Rami Lutfi, he is such a sweet guy!

Hello everyone,

I am a Chicagoan too, just had a consultation at DayOne in the city...is anyone here familiar with them, perhaps had the surgery done there? Now that I've had the consult and am moving ahead with insurance matters, I am really eager to talk to people in the "real world" (as opposed to the patient advocates who work there, I mean).

Thanks,

Val

Hi Spal,

I too had my band done at Synchrony Health in Oak Brook, Il. with Dr. Brad Watkins, March 31, 2008. I am doing great and have never felt so welcomed and cared for by any medical practice, I mean there is not a mean, rude, or uncaring person in the whole facility, and the dr's bedside manner is the best, he's personable and you can tell he's really interested in the wellfare of each and every patient. So if you're looking for the best come to Dr. Watkins and Dr.M.Arain, I can't tell you enough of how pleased you'll be, and they are excellent at helping with insurance issues, Good luck to us all, Roz.
