Dear Miserable, please contact your doctors office asap it sounds like your band may be too tight, I experienced something like that before and it's very uncomfortable and can be very painful, hope you feel better soon my friend.

OMG I got STUCK
OMG !!!!! this brings back memories, some not too long ago lol, yes I don't think you've really Christened the band until you've been stuck ...... lol, when the Dr. and staff say "Listen" to your band that's exactly what you quickly learn to do after being stuck whether it's your 1st or 4th time experiencing it , lol keep up the good work all.

beautyoverlookd,I would also suggest trying Synchrony health in OakBrook,il. I had my surgery done there by Dr. Brad Watkins and the staff there is wonderful, caring and very patient and understanding , I know you will be pleased with all of them, and fills are just 95.00 from what I've seen and heard on this site that is a steal of a deal on fills, plus as I said earlier they are outstanding all the way around and that's very hard to find these days, their # is 630-990-2440, hope this helps you.

Just need to "talk" out my frustration.
Paulajm, so sorry to hear of the financial troubles and woes you're experiencing, I hope things work out for you, I was /am faced with a similar situation but thank God for "Synchrony Health" in Oak Brook, IL. they allowed me to have surgery and even owing alot more than 423.00 (thousands more) they are working with me and allowing me to make payments until my debt is cleared, (God-sent Angels) for real, I am so blessed and wish everyone could experience the expertise and professional care that I receive at Synchrony, Dr. Brad Watkins and his staff are simply "The best" "FREE" lifetime fills, now that's worth any money I owe, so again I pray things work out for you, and if you're thinking of looking elsewhere for care try Synchrony Health , they have various locations throughout the U.S. and you may just find your "Angels" as I have, good luck and keep striving towards your goal.

Realize band...first fill...how much...
I can definitelty relate 4CRAZYBOYS, I am loving my band, was banded March 31st, 2008 by Dr. Brad Watkins in Oak Brook, Il. I had my first fill May 5th of 3cc's and at first I thought I was feeling good restriction, but today is May 14th and I feel like I can eat a horse, but not all the time and not with all foods which I thank God for, but I am going to contact my Dr's office to see if I can have another fill, and hopefully that will be my "sweet spot" good luck and keep on keeping on as we move along through this weightloss journey.

Is tylenol 3 enough after surgery?
Hello Alicia, I was given liquid Lortab, also known as Vicoden, and I still have a full bottle of the meds left, I used maybe about 4 teaspoons and knowing everyone's pain tolerance and allergies to meds vary, I don't know if you may be allergic to any meds, but this 1 worked extremely well for me, and I was also given a Rx for a nausea med which I didn't have to use at all, I was banded March 31, 2008, by Dr.Brad Watkins and he was assisted by Dr. M. Arain 2 wonderful, caring surgeons in Oak Brook, Il. their Practice is called Synchrony Health, I can't rave enough about them and their staff all great professional people, and I wouldn't give my band up for the world :biggrin2:, Good luck and God bless.

Hello from Illinois
Hi Spal, I too had my band done at Synchrony Health in Oak Brook, Il. with Dr. Brad Watkins, March 31, 2008. I am doing great and have never felt so welcomed and cared for by any medical practice, I mean there is not a mean, rude, or uncaring person in the whole facility, and the dr's bedside manner is the best, he's personable and you can tell he's really interested in the wellfare of each and every patient. So if you're looking for the best come to Dr. Watkins and Dr.M.Arain, I can't tell you enough of how pleased you'll be, and they are excellent at helping with insurance issues, Good luck to us all, Roz.
