  1. Tightening the band can be a slippery slope. Have you tried counting calories and upping your exercise instead?
  2. Generally you need to see if they even cover bariatrics. Some employers choose not to.
  3. Definitely sit down and let him climb up on your lap. Don't pick him up until your doctor says you can.
  4. How tight are we supposed to be? My doc has always said I should only be able to hold 3 oz. I've always been able to hold more than that though. I've been hungry lately so I went in and had 2.5 cc's added and now I'm tight until lunch and then I can only hold 3 oz and no more. I have to wait an hour after I eat to drink anything and even then I have to drink slowly. Have I finally found my green zone? I know I am finally losing weight again. I was going up and down 7 pounds before this fill.
  5. You definitely have to stop drinking while eating. That will sabotage your weight loss efforts.
  6. Me! I'm battling the same 5 pounds. I track and weigh and measure EVERYTHING! It's so annoying to still be working on the same 5 pounds.
  7. I got a fill about 3 weeks ago. He put in .5 cc's which should have put me at 7 cc's total. Normally at 7 cc's I can't eat bread or chicken and my portions get much smaller. Normally after a fill I also have swelling for 10-14 days where I have to stay on liquids. This last time though my swelling only lasted a few hours and I can still eat anything I want and I'm hungry all the time. Is it possible he missed my port? The PA is the one who did my fill. If he didn't miss my port than is it possible I have a leak? I go back next week I'm assuming he can pull all the Fluid out to measure it, he always does. Is it possible I have a full 7 cc's and it's just not working the same for me? Any thoughts?
  8. LMBO! Great responses!
  9. Honestly you look smaller than that:) Looking good!!
  10. I always take my morning meds with hot coffee, they go down much easier! Good luck on your journey!
  11. Here's a link to the ones I'm talking about. Some flavors have caffeine and some don't. I do try to eat my protein but some days I still need a little extra liquid protein. http://www.proteintogo.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=52
  12. I would think that revising to the sleeve would help you keep the weight off and without it you would just regain. It's interested to see all the thoughts on this. I know I would need surgical intervention to stay where I am at.
