  1. I had a hard time this weekend as well, well Saturday and Thursday. Both days I had sweets and I don't even like sweets. I need to start adding fiber to my diet as well because on Friday night into Saturday I was pretty much crying because well I couldn't poop....it was pretty bad. I'm going to try the gummy fibers and eat more veggies, hoping that helps!
  2. I was told absolutely NO carbonation.
  3. I am over a month banded and I still can't get the full 8-10 ounces down at a time. It takes me pretty much all day to finish it.
  4. Hey all!!! Happy Monday (ugh not really). Hope everyone had a great weekend. I went to physic this weekend and she told me I'd be married within 4 years and I'm going to meet him at a support group meeting. I found it entertaining! I can't wait for my fill next week, little nervous about it but I know I need it! I had a cookie on Thursday and a brownie and a half on Saturday (not good!!!). April 27th needs to get here quickly. I'm also looking forward to my vacation to Disney, that needs to get here as well. I'm still a little nervous about fitting into roller coasters, the last time I tried to get on one it was embarrassing :-/ Anyway, hope all is well all around!!!
  5. Congrats!!! Keep your chin up and know that you can do this. Good luck!!!
  6. You're probably fine, my stomach looked like I was preggers for a few days but it's gone down. It's all the gas they've pumped into you.
  7. I actually live in Staten Island but work in Manhattan, downtown. I feel a NYC lapband luncheon coming on!!
  8. It's completely normal to freak out! I know I did. Good luck with everything!!
  9. You're going to be do fine. The anxiety you're feeling is completely normal. Good luck with everything!!
  10. I was extremely picky when it came to Protein drinks, I hated them all! The only one I really like is Body Fortress Super Advanced whey Protein powder, the chocolate Peanut Butter flavor. They sell is at Walmart and it's $13.00 for two pounds and it tastes pretty good. Before surgery I had to drink 4 medifast shakes a day.
  11. Good luck with everything and congrats!!
  12. Just wanted to wish you good luck!! Check out the April 2011 thread, might find some people there who are sharing a date with you.

  17. For the first few days I had to hold my breathe while getting up off of chairs or beds but now it's fine. It sounds like the port site that's bother you still and it's normal.
  18. I've always heard that since we lose slower the skin has more time to keep up and it's not as saggy. I was also told that if a tummy tuck or skin removal was needed to wait a year after reaching goal. Hope this helps a little. Good luck!
