Heyy!! I'm actually glad someone asked about the sleep study because I have to go to one soon as well. I was worried about the wires since I am too a restless sleeper. I know someone said they took some otc medicine to sleep I was planning on doing the same thing but didn't know if it was allowed. When is your sleep study scheduled for?? I haven't set mine up yet but I'll definitely keep you posted.

Hi to Amanda, Kelsey & Michelle. Welcome!! I'm Liz, 26 from NYC. Not banded yet but hope to be by April. Right now working on my testing and waiting for an issue with my physch eval to be resolved then they'll submit to insurance. Michelle I always was a little overweight growing up but it never bothered me till my late teens early 20's and that's when I packed on most of the weight. I was always athletic growing up and then once I graduated and started working is when the issues began. I researched the hell out of the lapband and made the first step in Sept. Hope to keep in touch with you all!!!

I agree!! So we'll start planning once we're all banded and before we know it we'll be booking gigs all over the world. :-)

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have a great experience with Dr. McMullen. So far so good, I've noticed that she doesn't have the best bed side manner but I'm actually ok with that. :-)

I'm pretty sure the iphone (or if you have an ipod touch) has a similar app. It doesn't have the scanner (unfortunately cause that sounds AWESOME!). Thanks for the heads up thou!! :thumbup:

Hey all! Hope everyone had a great New Year (no hangovers I'm hoping). I'm on day 3 of not smoking and I'm not going to lie, I'm struggling just a bit. I decided to quit for my surgery that way I can be all around healthy. Anyone else quit the habit in the past or recently (cold turkey), if so any advice???? :blushing:

Hey all. Today (5 PM) going for my surgical consult. Very excited to finally have a sit down with the surgeon. Also excited that I'm getting things rolling to get closer to my surgery date. Right now I have some questions that I want to ask her but if anyone could give me some questions that they asked or wished they asked, I don't want to forget anything and then have to call to ask again.
