  1. I had the Mirena put in a couple months before my surgery, and I bled like crazy too, mine never was in the right place, and it was very uncomfortable, especially during sex(tmi, sorry). I had it taken out a couple months ago, and so glad I did, I bled for a couple of weeks, but I am regular again, and no more painful sex. Good luck with it!
  2. I've never fasted, and never had problems.. On my way to a fill appt. my dr.'s office was running behind, so the nurse called me and told me to grab something to eat and take my time..But every dr. is different!
  3. I feel ya, I've had the same thing happen to me, you are craving a food so bad, and your brain is saying, you can eat it, you can eat it, and in an instant your brain says no you can't, no you can't!!! LOL! But, it seems the only way for us to learn is by experience, I go for another fill today, and I am ready for my liquid diet for a day! I think I will be really close to my sweet spot after today, and from my own experience, I will not be trying hardly any of the foods I've been eating the past couple of weeks!!!
  4. My Dr. uses a spray to numb the area, and I don't feel a thing! Thank goodness!
  5. Great Job! You are an inspiration!
  6. I haven't been on here in a long time, I stay really busy at work and with my 21 month old!! Everyone seems to be doing really well! Happy Holidays! I have an appointment today for a fill, I hope I get one, I didn't get to last time because I had lost 7 pounds in two weeks, I know that didn't happen this time due to Thanksgiving, and I am at the point where I am starving again..lol! Talk to you all later and hopefully I can keep up better!
  7. At lunch today I started to eat some really mushy dressing, with gravy on it and I started to hiccup. I had only taken like two bites and then I started to throw up, like projectile, everywhere! I have never had any problems with this and its been two weeks since I had a fill, weird....Anybody else ever throw up just from the hiccups? I could understand if I had eaten something I wasn't supposed to or if I had eaten too much, but I had barely started to eat!!! Oh I am 8 weeks post op too....
  8. I think broccoli, rice, and cheese casserole would be easy if you use enough velveeta!
  9. I understand what you all are going through..I started starving! And at just a week and 5 days out my Dr. gave me a 4cc fill and I have been much much better. Even the nurse was like wow, you talked him into giving you a fill, and I was like all I did was just ask! So, just ask, and if you aren't in pain, and able to eat anything maybe they will fill you?! It will get better for you, I promise!
  10. Add me please! Kelly~V 09/24/2009
