  1. Thank's Pam-Mo & John! Go Chrissy!!!!!!! Mo, I don't really have any plans so give me a call and tel me where you wanna go! Andrew, When I went to my orientation @ Fremont I felt the same way lol! I wish I could help you with Dr. IM, but I am a Kaiser Fremont Brat (so far the only one on this board lol) Anyways I know some people on this board have had that DR. but you can always go on to ObesityHelp - Gastric Bypass, LAP-BAND - The have a section where they rate facilities and Dr.'s. Congrats Stacey on the close date, soon enough you will be on the other side lol!
  2. Just marking my spot! I'm doing good, 194 this AM :grouphug:
  3. Mo I would love too, but I will be out of town this weekend! When are you off work for the summer? We need to walk when you are feeling better
  4. Yeah I just remember hearing the music and Dr. Chu saying everything went well and they repaired my hernia, it must have been right after they pulled the tube out. But then I assed out again. I have to second what Lee said, about 2-3 days out it is a much quicker and better recovery process for the sleeve. Well worth the waking up from surgery part. Mo, I bet you are rocking your band. Lets get together! Lee, I was the one asking about the group. I need somthing closer to me! Congrats on the weight loss!!!!!
  5. LOL @ the music during surgery, I fell asleep to Lady Gaga and woke up to Black Eyed Peas !!!
  6. Awwww my poor Mo!!!! Chrissy! holly crap! Thats awsome, I need to get you clothes now, and I am almost out of my 16's I just bought last week, you know who they are going to lol! I hope everyone is doing well!
  7. Ohhh yes Taco Bell beans and Wendy's Chili lol, Staples for sure!!!!
  8. Hey my Chrissy girl! I'm gonna skype you today lol! Anyways, i had the same as Ali and canned tuna, canned chicken with low fat mayo. Only, I aint gonna lie lol I totally had my fair share of mashed potatoes lol!
  9. Yep that's who I'm talking about
  10. Morning Everyone, I have been talking with Chrissy, and she has been @ the S. San Francisco with April all night. April's Dr. thinks that her band has eroded into her stomach. She went in for a slight un-fill not to long ago, and from what I understand, it caused a bit of pain, of because of that they decided to check and they are going in with a camera today. They are talking about removing her band. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
  11. Mo- I got your call, I'm gonna call you back soon  Lee- Welcome back! I feel the same way - I love my Sleeve
  12. Stacy, I can agree with Chrissy, infact I piled everything up on my scale to see how much it weighed before I went lol! Lorden, not sure about the next meeting, but yes they had one this Saturday as a few of my friends went! Songbird, sorry I never had that issue, just email your surgeon and if it gets worse go to the ER and demand a CT scan. Let us know what happens!
  13. Thanks all for the congrats. I can't make it today for a couple of reasons, first my son has a T-ball game at 11:30 and also it is a long drive for just my self. Although I a desperate for a support group meeting since they cancelled the one where I live. So maybe I will host soon or plan something for all of us to do closer to me
  14. oh and ps... my scale is 1 pound heavier then Kaiser at all times :bored: And I have lost 50.5 lbs since November, half my personal goal! (Yesterday I was 202, so I lost 2.5 lbs overnight!!!! Love my VSG hehehehehe)
  15. Ok Ladies & John.... Are you ready for this? Drum roll please......
  16. Go Chrissy! 13 in one week! My sleeve sista :bored: Mo, I'm trying to catch up with your skinny butt so we can shop together at that one store you want to go to (and I think you ment to say 2009 lol) Go Pam! A new bike whoo hoo !!!! Ali- You are looking great! I too feel the same way you doo about my choice of procedure, pluss many other reasons lol! But I love everyone on here so I stay
  17. Yeah Mo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Friday I will be 1 month out and down 16 lbs. in one month  Wish it was more but not bad considering I am 2 sizes down too
  18. Yeah I have been at a stand still this week so far still at 202. But I agree pound by pound  Nice Pic John!
  19. I love my Chrissy 2!!!!
  20. No problem Stacey! Just make sure you do what is right for you along with a well educated decision!
  21. Mo- I love Everett & Jones!!!!!!!! Pam- So happy for your loss-79 wow! Cole- The sleeve has the lowest complication rate of all three surgeries, please research this. VSG is exactly what they do for someone who has had cronich ulsers or stomach cancer with people living well over 40+ years of research. Side note about the band here is a quote from my Kaiser Fremont Book "The overall re-operation rate for lap bands is as high as 1 in 6 over 10 years." Anyways, I am doing great-just board with my food. I am on the soft foods- deli meat cheese ect. John/Lee/Ali... What where you all eating at that phase?
  22. Mo- for sure! Friday is a better day for me, I actually have a child in my daycare on Thursday. I hope it gets better with your band :smile2: Wish I had the answers, although Pam's where great!
  23. Today is a great day!!!!! This morning the scale said 202.5, and i fit in my first size 16 pants in over 7 years, and my hubby bought me a Cadillac Escalade!!!!!!! Whooo Hoo!
  24. Pam- you look good!!!!!!!!! Mo- Congrats on the fill girl  We are gonna party when you are at goal !!!!! Cole, plenty of people on Lapband Tallk have lost in the upwards of 100 lbs. The surgery you have is really up to you. Personally I would never have bypass just because of the malabsorbtion. I had the sleeve for many reasons (allergies to meds, and GERD ect.) But just do your research on all the boards, VSG talk, and obesity help boards. Then approach your Dr. with that information so the two of you can make the best decision. Make sure to look at the bad and the good!)
  25. Hey Mo! I see you down there
