  1. Happy 55th Birthday janicebillingslea!

  2. 2 years has passed since you registered at LapBandTalk! Happy 2nd Anniversary janicebillingslea!

  3. Janice:

I had my surg in Sept. I did not feel any resrtiction until my 3rd fill. I lost each month, only because I made myself control my portions. After the 3rd fill, I started to fill some restriction, but not enough. I have had my 4th fill now and it seems to be right for me. I have only found a few things that I cannot eat. Soft white bread, shrimp, and Arby's roast beef. Other than that, I can eat just about anything in small quantities. I have lost 48 lbs thus far.

Hang in there one fill at a time!!!

    I finally broke my plateau!

Hi Maggie, Thanks for responding; I meant that I am not eating anything that I should not be; I am following my manual to the T - I dont think and I know that I am not eating 1500 calories per day; not with the diet menus that I am using: I usually have a Protein shake or 6 tablespoons of Cereal for breakfast; lunch includes grilled chicken and vegetables and the same for dinner; I usually do not get to a snack in between; I track all my foods on fitday.com and I journal; but, each day, I only get at the most 850 calories in per day. I do not eat sandwhiches yet, maybe I should incorporate those into my lunch; I love wraps. I so want to be successful at this and thought that I would contiunue to lose at least 2 pounds per week, I have included using some weights into my routine, I have just started using the treadmill, I was walking about 40 minutes 3 times per week. Yeah, I try to get about 60 grams of protein in my diet per day. What is the Couch 2 5K program? Congratulations on breaking your plateau. Thanks this is great inforamtion
  5. Thanks tmg333; you look good; I have had one fill at 2.5cc's but I dont really feel anything and dont go back until 11/6/09; hope I can stay disciplined until then. I bought some weights and will begin to exercise every day on the treadmill; yeah, i do need to drink more water. Janice/transformed

  6. Hi Thanks! plateaus are normal I hit them all the time but the key is to change up what you are doing. Try drinking more water and exercising more than what you were doing. Cut out sweets if you are eating those too. See if you can get a fill. Fills always help get the scale moving again. Congrats on your surgery. You are still doing great to have lost 27 lbs...don't rush it too fast. You will get there.
