  1. I feel ya sister. I miss bread like crazy! I wish i could just have a ham sandwich on whole wheat bread.
  2. Dave if you only knew me.. the puppy story may work. Butane lighter from hell! BWWWWWWWAAAHHHHHAAAA!
  3. I am just getting ready for the next chapter of my life. Dating and finding my soul mate. The thing is...I can see and feel mine. I have lost enough that my bellie is pretty flat now. (greatful for that.) I guess I just wondered how people deal with that aspect of it. I imagine it to be akward. OMG... here comes Real life. No more hiding.. time to get out there. LOL Excited.. nervous..all of it. PS: I love my band, I feel great and I feel sexy!
  4. Kay here it is.. I am single and looking forward to dating again now that I am thinner. However I am concerned that intimacy will be akward with a Port. After my last relationship, i decided to "hide behind my fat" and just stay by myself. But now that I am thinner and feeling more confident, I have these thoughts. Any advice from those of you who have met someone after surgery?
  5. I love how people are like get rid of the dog. WOW! these animals depend on us. Just because they display aggresive behavior doesnt mean you just toss them away. I agree with Betsy B's reply. I couldnt have said it better myself. None of it is your choice.
  6. Bless you and your heart. Thanks for sharing!
  7. Ahhhh don't you feel so much better? Congrats to you!
  8. Banded 9-23-09. No problems to date. 71.9 lbs lost.
  9. Go to your doctor and demand they do and ultra-sound on your gobladder. Something sounds definatley wrong. When i had my gobladder removed I couldnt keep anything down either. Pre-lap band so i wasnt in any danger. If you keep vomiting with the band you could cause slippage!
  10. Unfortunatley these things happen.. WLS affects relationships. When you change your life style, you dont share that commond ground anymore. This all happened to me as well. My best freind and i hardly speak anymore. A huge "no punn intended" part of our relationship was food. I cant eat like I used to, so our relationship was affected. She has seen me a couple of times since my WLS, and has never even commented on my progress. As a matter of fact I ran into her at a BBQ last weekend, and she didnt even say a word. Keep in mind she is 200 plus lbs over weight. So i can kind of get it. She is still stuck, which is the way I used to feel. The difference is, I made a decision to change my misery. I know it sucks to lose friends..relationships will change while your on this journey.. Just keep on keepen on!
  11. I love it! This weight has been toxic for me.. Now its time to get back to living! Life is AWESOME! Love that others are feeling it too!
  12. I agree with Mimi... you look Hot girl! Leave it!
  13. Thanks to this surgery.. I am actually looking forward to summer. BBQ's, swimming, wearing a bathing suite & sun dresses! YAY!
  14. Thank you betsy... Your the best.. Wish my doc would have told me this.. WOW! right? Luckily, I havent been popping them left and right.. only here and there. Thank you so much to everyone.
