I have a 14cc with 7cc in it. I have had one fill, 5ccs. I dont really feel "restricted", but I am doing well with the weight loss so I have decided to leave it alone until I need more help.

Dealing with Cravings/Food Obsessions.
I am trying to change my behaviors that got me fat. When I start craving something I shouldnt, I will go exercise. I started this after surgery when the hunger started. Retraining myself is much like training a dog. I need to be consistent. The minute that craving hits or that thought about eat, I get up and move. Now, with that said, lately I have been craving citrus really bad. I bought some sugar free lemonade at Chic-fil-a and have been drinking that. And loading my iced tea up with lime juice. Since citrus isnt as high in calories or fat as say, ice cream, I havent worried about it. But if I suddenly stall, I will know what I have changed in my diet. Usually, it isnt just one thing but an overall lax attitude that causes stalls. Last time it was refried Beans, but I was slipping in several areas also.

Almost 4 weeks since surgery...Can I have a freakin drink??
Your forgiven, even for suggesting I might need help with alcoholism. Even though you kinda forgot about that one. But thats ok. I am an easy going type person. Not just a braggart about alcohol. LOL:wink:

2 days post-op and hungry?
For me the hunger was bad post surgery. I made sure I drank all the water I could and started walking. Exercise and water both help with the hunger a bit. But for me, it was still tough. No wait, it IS tough....still.

Show me where I said what works me will work for someone else and then we can discuss it. Other than that, I wont play your control games. So sorry, find someone else.

OH wait. I forgot to mention Mojitos. And Gin Rickeys. Highly recommended.

Almost 4 weeks since surgery...Can I have a freakin drink??
Well, I still drink. Mostly martinis (Cosmopolitans, blueberry martini, pomegranite martini, you name it). So far it is working for me. If things start to not work, then I will reexamine what I am doing. One of the things no one has touched on yet is swapping vices. Being forced to give up food, you can easily swap for alcohol or other behaviors. Just be cautious. Oh and Spartan, how completely petty and small of you. The whole idea that you are going to follow someones posts in order to gloat at their failure should be enough to let you know you got some more work to do on yourself. You might be at goal, but you got some issues.

Olive Garden NOT accomadating!!
I ate there yesterday, ordered off the big girls menu. LOL Seriously, if they allow you to order off the kids menu, it is a courtesy. Kids menus are pretty specific and usually have an AGE limit printed right on them. I choose this band, the whole world doesnt have to change to meet my eating style now. I guess it is the whole entitlement attitude that kinda leaves me cold...

sKIN CARE PRODUCTS ANY IDEAS FOR HELPING WITH LOOSE SKIN
After I turn off the shower, before I dry off, I put oil on my skin. I usually use the Neutragena, but when I am feeling cheap I buy the Johnsons baby oil. And then after I dry off, I hit the worst spots with heavy lotion with shea butter.

Please Help. I`m a "Diet Junkie"
I am only a few months out myself, and I eat low carb. For me, it was/is the only way I am going to be able to control my hunger. Most of my meals consist of grilled or baked fish or poultry and lightly cooked veggies. No potatoes, no Pasta, no bread. I get my dairy thru cottage cheese and yogurt mostly. So, you could say I am "dieting". But I consider eating low carb more of a way of life. Also, even though I have lost 100 lbs, I still am about half way to where I need to be. So, if you only have 60-75 lbs to loose, you are half way there also. No idea what your goals are.

not loosing anymore--- what to do!?
Patience is the key right now. You are just beginning. You have a long road ahead. 20-22 lbs is a fantastic amount of weight to loose in about 2 weeks. If you really, really want to do some trouble shooting to find out what is going on, log your food. It is a lot of work, but invaluable for those who need a realistic review of what they are doing right and what they are wrong.

Has anyone tried the free Lindora trial from Lapband.com?
If it is what I was enrolled it, it is a 10 week series of emails. Everyday you get a new email discussing a different topic. They are helpful and I enjoyed them. But, I wouldnt pay for it if it werent free.

Singles: What size for dating?
I am so happy to see you post this. I always dated. If anything, the extra weight just kept the insincere and egomaniacs away. It is much harder to ascertain who is sincere when you are thinner, for me anyways.

Now that you are chewing your food more thoroughally...

Now that you are chewing your food more thoroughally...
I had a steak for the first time yesterday. OMG, it really tasted good. Now, mind you, it WAS a good steak. It came with 4 scallops. I couldnt eat them. By the time I had chewed my first bite enough to swallow, I didnt want any more.

Do you find that you no longer like the taste of certain foods? And are there other foods you find you like better? Just curious, I will post some of my thoughts later.

100 Lbs Down
I officially lost 100 lbs as of today! In the past, one of the things I was doing wrong trying to loose weight is first thing, I would run out and buy things. I would decide to try to loose weight so I would go out and buy some exercise equipment, some clothing or shoes, a gym membership, you name it and I would buy it. Unfortunately what it did was set me up for failure. I felt I was "accomplishing" something by making the purchase and inevitably I wouldn't follow through. So this time, one of the commitments I made to myself was to not run out and buy anything. Rather, I was going to use my purchases as rewards for reaching goals, instead of a means to reach a goal. My 100 lb goal reward is a new bicycle. I had mine stole a couple of years back. I really miss it. I had an Electra Black Betty. It was a cool retro cruiser; black with pink flames and rims. So I went to the shop I originally purchased my Betty from and they no longer stock the bikes, but will still order one for you. They handed me a 2010 brochure and I went to McAllisters Deli so I could get a glass of tea and enjoy picking my reward. (If you have never had McAllisters Ice Tea, it is wonderful, delicious) I start flipping through the brochure, loving each new bike on each page flip. Until, that is, I come across a huge picture of a Mammy doll. And the heading on the page is "Inspiration". Jesus, it's 2010! So anyways, now I sorta lost my excitement.

Bandsters: PreOp Diet vs. Bandster Hell
The worst part for me was the hunger after the band. I wasnt expecting to be so physically hungry. I have read a lot of people talking about head hunger and I have no idea what they are talking about. My hunger was physical. My stomach rumbled and rolled and made all sorts of noises. It was embarassing.
