it honestly depends on your insurance requirements and how quick you want the procedure done. Although my insurance didn't require the 6 month diet, I had a list of test and doctors to see.....I took a week off of work and finished my requirements in 2 months. Now awaiting for the doctor office to submit to my inusrance

I'm happy now...the surgeon officially has everything and they said it can take up to a week for a date!!!!!

Congrats on the new baby :-) and I would definately consult with your doctor....as per my doctor he said you can have the band and have a baby, but he takes the saline out and put it's back in post baby.

I definitely agree with the Crystal Light, but I also am preparing for the preaop liquid diet. I'm definately scared about it, but I keep reminding myself of the bigger picture.....lose weight and being healthy. Good luck on your journey

Hey everyone, I'm officially done with all my insurance and surgeon requirements as of this morning, I'm hoping for everything to be submitted to my insurance this week.......it feels good to be done, I started working on the list 6/29/2009, 2 months seems short, but I'm so ready to start my new life.
