Hi Everyone! Im New

Just want to say hi to everyone, Ive been reading posts for about a week now and have to say I LOVE this site, very informative!!

Im just starting out in my lap band journey. I went to the required seminar, spoke with my PCP, called the insurance which it is a covered procedure grant it I meet the requirements which I do but I do have to enroll in the "I can change program" for atleast 6 months. But while Im doing that I can continue with everything from the Bariatric center that they require and should finish both around the same time! Yea! I meet with the nurse for the 1st time on the 18th, there is alot I do before I even meet with a surgeon.

Oh ya, Im from Illinois and am planning on have my procedure at Genesis Bariatric Center in Davenport, Iowa. I am so excited and I really hope 6 months goes by quickly.

Take Care Everyone and we'll see you around the board
