I am working out hard at the gym.. doing 40 mins of cardio 5days a week, weight lifting 4x a week ... My food choices havent been great but its still WAY less then i was eating before...
  2. This has been something i have been struggling with.. My doctor doesnt want me to drink during meals, but I told him at my first post op visit i am having problems with this... I am drinking maybe a 1cup of water with meals.. That is down a Tons since my surgery..
  3. I think too much of a good thing is bad... I work out 5 days a week.. 45mins lifting, 30 mins cardio and have never had a problem.
  4. glad to see everyone is doing good.. I cant believe i am 4 weeks out as of yesterday.. man has time flown..
  5. I really havent been excited much this whole season.. I was sad to see drea go  I thought she would win the whole thing... I dont know who i want to win... maybe sunshine..
  6. Awesome Congrats! Did the fill hurt?
  7. Congrats on the 22lbs! I dont know, Didnt have a problem with the McD's. I had a hamburger without the top bun, Ate about 1/2 of that and about 1/2 a small fry.. Bread doesnt seem to bother me, Really havent found anything that has stuck.. But the other thing is, my doctor is aware, I have been drinking with meals  I am trying so hard to stop..
  8. cbbrink.. I sent you a Personal Message a few days ago.. Check it
  9. I have to agree, I was sitting in bed thinking about this last night.. If i really thought i didnt have a pouch i would have gone to see another doctor, There are TONS of surgerons that perform lapband around pittsburgh, I am sure one of they would have seen you. Like she said i am not calling you out, I am just saying what i would have done... But their way i am sorry that this happened to you...
  10. Just wanted to come back and let everyone know how the actual surgery went.. Dr. Urbandt and Staff were beyond Nice to me and my family during my surgery. My parents said he was very kind and told them how everything went after my surgery. I was in a great amount of pain afterwards and I felt that He really cared about me. My 2 week follow up appt, I came to realize he really does care for all of his patients and wants everyone to reach their goals, But I dont think will be much of a baby sitter, If you follow his "rules" after surgery you will be a success. I have had to call a few times since my surgery and his staff has been nothing but GREAT always answering my questions.
  11. My first NSV is, today I am wearing a pair of Scrub pants that i couldnt wear cause they were so tight, when i would sit, i swear they cut my circulation off to my legs hehe.. Not anymore.. They are even a little loose..
  12. Awesome for you! I hated having to wait in line and hope to gosh i fit in the ride.. I am sure i still have a ways to go to fit is some rides.
  13. I am a month out This friday and I still feel a good bit of restrication too, Just wondered if you did too.. Please let us know how your fill goes!
  14. I admit i am kinda is the same boat as you, but I know that this is a lifestyle change, I cant sit here and say i will never eat mcdonalds.. I actually ate there today, but I am making better choices that i would have made prior to surgery. If I make little changes and make better choices everyday eventally i will be making awesome choices everyday  Hang in there, you are doing good! Does you Surgeon have a support group? I am SURE there are other people that struggle with these things too!
  15. You dont need a gym, there are tons of body weight exercises you can do, plus go outside and walk  Just remember, you didnt put the weight on overnight and its not going to come off overnight. Slow and steady will come with WAY better results.. Keep your head up
  16. Wow Jodi Great for you! I wish I could say No to some foods  . Losing weight during PASSOVER! Great job! Now, i dont know what its like to hate working out, but Just remember every time you workout (exercise) you are taking one more step to reaching your goal ( baby steps wins the race!) I love working out and use the time as me time and Thinking time. When I first decided to have this surgery i thought I would keep it a secret but I havent. I have told people and alot of the people i work with comment on my weight loss every day! I personally know this wasnt the easy way out and i know i am working hard to lose what i am , so i am not ashamed to tell people i had the surgery. I am hoping that i can encourage others that want to lose weight to get this lives together and lose the weight too.. Dont get me wrong i am not broadcasting it everyone, but when people ask i tell them.
  17. That is what my surgeon said as well..
  18. Do you still have any restrication? Just wondering.. Good luck with your fill. Let us know how it goes.. On a TMI note...... Is everyone having normal BM's again? I am 3 weeks out, 1 week of all much regular food but on the softer side.. I am still having very runny bm's,. I havent had a Normal BM like before the surgery since the surgery.. Just wondered.. Kelsey
  19. Hiya finding Me.. I am still here, Just dont post cause I dont want to talk to myself heheh I am 3 weeks and 1 day op off.. Feeling good
  20. Hiya Everyone  Had my 2 week post of visit today.. Down -12 lbs, He was very happy with my progress, I told him i was worried i didnt lose enough and he said if i had lost anymore he would be concerned so I feel great  He told me I wont get a fill until my weight loss slowes down or stops. , Which i think is a good thing.. My band is working good right now with nothing in it, if its working dont mess with it  He said i am going to be one of his "Star" Clients,, Already back in the gym and working out.. I know my hard work is going to pay off.

  25. Hey Stevie... I am doing better, NEver called the doctor about the fever, I am a paramedic and nothing seems wrong to me other than that i was catching a cold so i think i just had a fever cause of that..
