I haven't been here in a while hope everyone is doing good. It's been great for me I've lost 83 lbs now. My surgery date was Aug. 17 2009 and only 2 fills, everything has been going great. For the people just getting started, just take one day at a time and let your band do the rest. Hope everyone has a blessed night.

I keep having that when food doesnt go down.I was banded 8-17-09.

Hello I've lost 43lbs counting 1 week preop diet, only had to do one week pre-op.I've had 1 fill on 10-6-09 and I cant hardly eat anything 3ccs I havn't been working out just walking 3 miles a day 5 days a week. But remember working out you gain muscle,and it weighs more than fat. Good luck

Hello, my name is Allen. I have the same problem I went to the doctor today for my first fill and he looked at my port site and he said that some times it takes sme people longer to heal. my surgery was 8-17-09 and I still have a lump there and I'm still tender around my port.

This morning I got my first fill and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, thanks everyone for your help.

Tomorrow is my first fill and I'm so excited and scared at the same time, but it's all been good so far, down 36lbs since aug.17,2009:thumbup:

Good luck, I had my surgery aug.17,2009 about amonth and ahalf ago and its been great. I've lost 35 pounds and I started at 300lbs. It's amazing how much better you feel when you start losing weight. My wife is a big help to keep me on track and it's good to have someone to help. I'm 36 years old and I just felt bad all the time so I went to the doctor. My ins. wouldn't cover any of it so I had to be self pay it's been hard but worth it. Carecredit.com is a credit card for doctors and hospitals so if you need some help thats a good way to go. Hello, my name is Allen and I was banded 8-17-09 and I didn't have to go on a pre-op diet eather. My doctor said most of his people didn't have a pre-op diet.

Good luck, I had my surgery this monday 17 and im doing great it wasn't half as bad as I thought.Tuesday the day after surgery I went back to work but all I had was meetings all day but I still felt like going. Good luck

Hello my name is Allen and I had my surgery monday the 17th. Haven't been in to much pain other than gas pain.I work with the school district so had meetings on tuesday and today but all I had to do was sit there. My wife also works with me so she has been taking good care of me. Glad to here your doing good and God Bless.

Hello everone hope everyones having a great day. Well today is finally here. This morning I had my surgery at 8:00am and I'm so excited. I got to leave the hospital about 1:00pm. The only thing that has bothered me is the gas pains but not to bad maybe a 3 on a scale to 10. I would like to thank everyone for helping me through your blogs.

Hello everyone out there. This is my first blog so im new about all of this blogging. I found out today that my band date is Aug.17 and I am so happy. Im 35 and I've always had a weight problem and at this time in my life im ready for a change. Thanks for all the helpful blogs on this site, they have helped me alot.:sneaky:
