I feel like a well oiled machine! Eating machine that is:laugh:. I cant seem to get my appetite under control. I am only one month in but still nothing! I am doing allot of research on the band reading allot of posts on eating habbits after the band. I am mentally preparing but dang! Having a hard time with the physical preparedness. Well I officially started my six month supervised diet yesterday. My PCP was very supportive of my decision to be banded. He told that his Father is also banded and that he is very thin. I had picked out a surgeon already but the more I read on hear about his office and prices the more I was not sure if this is the guy for me. So my Doc recommended a guy, his name is Jaurez and practices out of Tempe St. Lukes hospital. Here i go....... Wish me luck.
As i am starting this journey and have lots of questions. I am trying to read through all of the post on the forum board but still have some questions that i cant find the answers to. 1. My insurance requires 6 months supervised diet. I am currently at 43.5 BMI, what happens if I fall under that BMI during the supervised Diet? Do they say you no longet meet the BMI requirement and drop me?   2. Along with the BMI they require one comorbidity, I dont have high blood pressure, not sure o
I have never Blogged before. I have been on several sites for my hobbies and interests, just never Blogged.   Lets see, I decided to start this journey two weeks ago. I made an appointment and will be seen by Weight Loss Institute of Arizona. I am hopefull that my insurance will cover me, I have a BMI of 43.5. I am not sure if I have any Co-Morbidities but am sure that I do. I am 38, 310 pounds and have been heavy all of my adault life. I am so ready for a healthy change in my life. M
