Glad to get back on track.
I had lost interest in LBT for quite awhile. Im ready to get back on track and start my losing process again. I haven't really gained since my last entry but I haven't really lost either. The past few months have been more career oriented for me and less about my physical health. But I really want to get to where I can feel good about my appearance again. I had my daughters pictures taken together and I was talking to the photographer about scheduling a family photo session at my house and it hit me that I don't have all the time in the world to have it done. I want to be feeling and looking good. My daughters won't be little forever and with my husbands surgery date getting closer and closer, I have to have nice photos done before his surgery. I think im starting to feel like I have to get in shape and ready to be able to support our family for awhile whilst he recovers. my biggest fear though is of complications. Either way I have to get myself at my best and ready for anything. Today I exercised, and started my day off right witha protein shake. I just have to keep it up for the rest of the day. I need to start journaling my food because it keeps me accountable. I did so at fitday.com. Im also going to keep track on here because the idea of others seeing it motivates me. With God all things are possible, I can do this. He gives me the strength and the spirit to do this. Thank you.

George Bush: Worst American president in history
Its funny when ppl leave threads because they are losing a debate. Why is it that this person thinks that not agreeing with your president is somehow the same as no believing in God? I think this person has a reprobate mind and can't tell the differance between the president and God. Too bad he won't be reading this thread anymore to see what I think about him..

Warning Labels in Plus-Sized Clothing?

Size acceptance movement
One of the most poignant (sp?) things I've ever heard was from a man who had AIDS. He said that he was not dying of AIDS, he was instead LIVING with AIDS, and until he'd breathed his last breath he would be LIVING. You can look at things with your glass half empty or half full. I think the POS movement is about how you want to look at yourself as a MO individual. Do you want to think of yourself in terms of self-hatred ie; 'Im a fat pig', or do you want to think of yourself as a work in progress and currently MO, and a person of size? We are all works in progress in my oppinion, we all just have differant things to work on. Even the skinniest super models have thier own problems.. like cocaine, anorexia, etc. Yet they are super?? LOL POS aren't trying to be called super-sized. Give me a break its just a gentler way of saying MO. Whats wrong with learning decent/nice terms to describe oneself and others? Another example of this same concept -there was a time when it was ok to refer to dwarfs as midgets, and now they prefer the term 'little people'.

Why haven't you made any plans for Christmas with your kids? Why don't you have a celebration with them before the actual day and do something really fun. I mean since you waited this long to make your own plans your husband beat you to the punch line. The only plan you've made is to not let your kids go out of state with your ex. Start acting proactively instead of reactively. Thats my 2 cents.

If it were me I'd go to all the utilities and shut them off before you get in the hole. Then he can have the fun job of going and putting everything in his name solely or jointly with you early. That way your credit won't be affected any more than his will.

Maybe you should install a lock on your temporary bedroom so that you can keep your nectar to yourself for your heart.

IF He Did It?????
Carlene - I don't think its fair to Paris Hilton to group her with murderers. She makes millions, she has a tv reality show, perfumes, and Lord knows what all else. And why does she do it? Because she's a born busines woman. Whats wrong with a woman wanting to capitalize? Do you think the same of Donald Trump? Or is it ok for men to want to make money but not women? Maybe its the fact that her ex-boyfriend published private tapes, but there again, I don't think the fact that she had sex with her boyfriend makes her a villain.

Good Morning
I can totally relate to that Teresita! For me I think its because of the the cold weather and the holidays upon us. Growing up the holidays always represented feasting. Lobster, prime rib, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries, chicken, pies, etc etc. I've been trying really hard to remind myself that the holidays should be about connecting with people and taking time to appreciate what we have and to be grateful to God for it all. Its such a struggle to let go of equating holidays with food! Anyways, Im so happy that you are feeling so good.

Last Monday my husband and I had the consult with the neurosurgeon. It went as I was expecting. They want to surgically drain the tumor, hoping that it wont refill with fluid. I wasn't that impressed by the doctor however. I mean he seemed nice but his nurse seemed to butt in and over talk him somewhat and that just really irked me. I just think as a 'brain surgeon' he would be a bit more confindent and exude a control/command persona. He seemed more like a meek mild type of a person. Anyways I emailed a neurosurgeon on the east coast on Friday and he actually emailed me back that very night. Im going to send the MRI's to him and get a second oppinion. I need to get a date and plane tickets purchased. I know expense wise its going to cost me thousands more but I would sell the everything down to the house we live in and the clothes on my back if it will give us better odds on having a successful outcome. I hate that my husband has this freaking tumor!!! Grrr. I try to think on the positive side, like it has helped me to appreciate all that I have with him, and it has brought us closer together in a way that probably wouldn't have been possible without experiencing the fear of 'death do us part'. If we didnt have children I honestly would not want to continue living if soemthing were to happen to him. We just feel like an extension of each other. He's like the other half of me, he's as much a part of me as my own body, as my own mind, as my own sight. He will be ok, I will do everything in my power to make sure of it.

Divorce
Do you have joint credit cards? Use them to buy household items. I don't think he can cancel them without your consent. Any body have any information on this?? Im not sure but its worth checking into. If I were you Id stop caring what he says or thinks about money etc. He only has as much power as you give him. If he has the ability to stop you from having money for necessities like toilet paper, take some of his treasures (like guns, sport eqipment, jewelry, etc.) and cash them in at a pawn shop. Then keep the receipts to show that you used the money to buy such frivelous things like toilet paper. What an Ahole!! Hang in there, keep tuff.
