  1. I've been so bad this weekend............ even at full restriction.. I've been eating crap.. so I know my trip to ONEderland will be off a few days now...... but I WILL GET THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. You know I think you are doing great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FLAAAAAAAAAAAABAM!
  3. Hiya! Glad to meet you! Congrats on your band and congrats on your 40lbs lost........ if you've went up and down but are still at the 40 lb lost .. I count you as a HUGE success! Don't think of it as wasting a year sitting on the couch eating ice cream........... think of it as what it is.. THE PAST! OVER! Kaputt! The best thing here is that you already have a great tool installed... TIME FOR YOU TO USE IT! Time to visit your doc and adjust your fill level.............. TIME FOR YOU TO START LIVING IN THE PRESENT! You are sabotoaging yourself........... STOP NOW! Start working your band and the only thing you will be overestimating is your clothing size! (and this comes from someone who had a small chocholate shake today) This is life baby............ time to step up to the plate.
  4. Happy Sunday...... HH: I think on the avatars a side by side would be too small since the pixels have a max limit of 50x50, but you could add it to your signature. Mel: Congrats on the case! Haydee: I hope you start feeling better... between the move and all the painting you've probably wore yourself down. Denise: WOW.. ok... I thought the pregger daughter was the one with issues...... SO glad that it is not. If it makes you feel any better I was happily married and mature at 18.... by the time I was a jr in High School we had already bought our first piece of land... I was ready to have kids then.... but fate had other plans for me... anyway... I am so happy for you and the happy couple.... I don't want to even look at the scale tomorrow........ I've been a bad bandster this weekend.......... OK... gonna go for now... Have a great evening.
  5. Good to see you ARD!!!! 66lbs Yeah for you!
  6. Each of us has a different path to take...... go to a couple seminars, attend a support group.......... get some Water and read this board til your eyes bleed......... then make your decision. I will say this....... I beat myself up for 2 years because I couldn't maintain a loss.... and now that I've crossed over to bandland I LOVE MY BAND! I LOVE MY BAND!!! I LOVE MY BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Peeking in on all you wise and wonderful 06rs! GO BETTY GO! GO BETTY GO!!
  8. My band was covered by BCBS and my fills are a $20.00 copay.
  9. No I missed the bandwagon.... Here's hoping for October! My next visit with the good Doctor is Sept 24th and unless I losen WAY up.. I won't be asking for another fill......... Chances are with my big mouth, you wouldn't of missed me..
  10. Diane: Reading your thread today made me crack open our newly shipped Medical SPD............. We just recieved our new Insurance SPD's for our upcoming OPEN Enrolment Period (the boring legeleze book that no one ever reads) It's part of my job... so I just skimmed the OBESITY RELATED PROCEDURES section.............What I found made my day: Also included are services, supplies or charges for the correction of complications arising from weight control procedures, such as procedures to reverse any restrictive or diversion ary procedures and such reconstructiove procedures as may be neccessitatied by the weight loss produced by these covered restrictrive or diversionary procedures. Examples of such reconstructive procedures include, but are not limited to, abdominal panniculectomy, and removal of excessive skin from arms, legs or other areas of the body! THIS MEANS THAT I’m GETTING a TT and arms done after I LOSE THIS WEIGHT! Holy crap!!!!! I guess I won't have to start gettracynewboobs.com any time soon! I wonder if your doc takes BCBS????

  13. Diane: You are within a month! Wooooohoooooo!
  14. After 4 fills I'm am at my sweet spot! ( I have the small band ) Keep up with your fills, follow the rules and you will see those pounds drop!
  15. Welcome and good luck on the insurance front!
  16. Thanks for this thread and thanks to Julie and Jack for answering! I think we all get complacent every now and again... I think for us in the 5-6 month range its a matter of settling in for the long haul.
  17. Denise: SLOW DOWN SO I CAN CATCH UP!!!! Jennifur: You will be in ONEderland in no time! Laura: Keep us posted. Tummy is growling after only 2 hours........ grrrrr time for water though
  18. Congrats Wendell on 3 years! For anyone new reading this thread............ EVERYONE has a different EXPERIENCE period.... It all depends on YOUR BODY What you eat (what you LIKE to eat) How fast you eat How well you chew How much you are filled How well you listen to your body.... They are NOT BANDING YOUR BRAIN........
  19. WHOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Pamela!!!!!! Have fun this weekend!
  20. TGIF! 220.6 this morning! ALMOST TO THE TEENS!!!!! ONEderland I'm coming for you. I'm going to fix my WC oatmeal.... back in a few. WWJD
  21. HEY MEL! Glad to see you and dang you are losing like crazy!!!! I pray that your case comes out in your favor! Laura: OMG OMG OMG! NO freaking wonder!!!! I am so glad you complained loudly, otherwise you would of gone another month with no restriction....... I am glad you are getting it fixed...... I know you don't want to go under the knife again.... but this will be teensy weensy and then you will be like FLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAABLAM! restricted and the sexy jeans will be hanging around your ankles..... So when are they fixing it? In other news......... I pb'd on wheat thins and milk today.......... YUMMY I am such a dang speed eater.. you'd think I'd learn to chew chew chew by now! on my 3rd 20 oz glass of Water though.
  22. Banded 4/26............. down 52 lbs My doc says 1-3 lbs average per week......... could be 50 or 150............ I'm shooting for 100 by my bandversary... but first to get to ONEderland
  23. Sherry: YOU LOOK SO GREAT! and your son is a handsome cutie! Thanks for posting and most of all CONGRATS!
  24. I don't think it's a big deal because to me the key word is AVERAGE 1-3 lbs a week (per my doc) Means I could lose 50-150 lbs in a year........ (I'm hoping for 100 myself :car: ) I know 0nce I hit ONEderland the pounds will be fewer and fewer.
  25. Listen to Julie........... she's a smart cookie.... ok.. so maybe a skittle :car:
