Shrinkin' Violets- Part 2 Read Here
Good Morning........... yesterday was a day...... Robby is still at it....... He told me yesterday morning that he only had to get written up ONE MORE time and he would be OUT of Horizons (the before/after school) care............ we talked about him making good choices... etc... and by 9a he had gotten himself written up. The problem is that the am site director is done with him, and only after drilling her for details did I find out that he hit her, kicked at parents, and hid under a table........... (so probing for details she admitted that he wasn't being mean, he thought he was being funny) When I had Robby show me how he touched her he tapped her arm (like when you are trying to get attention) The parents he kicked at he was actually trying to block the door (being funny wanting a password) but the point is she is done, the problem is that sending him home would prove that he won and that this little 5 year old is in control of all these adults. I can not seem to get this point across. Anyway, once again I was up at the school talking my head off, bargaining, planning, participating in his educational plan. Also, I had a Chiro apt and my mamogram. I also went shopping and bought a couple 18 hour bra's............. TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning........ I have not had ice cream but I DID have cheesecake yesterday! Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough. (I suck) I also had two pc's of cin raisen toast yesterday! DAMN IT no PB! Laura: WAY TO GO!!!!!!! PAM: How ARE YOU DOING? I loved the pics of suzanne's eye! poor baby. HH: I gain and lose 5 pounds within a week! So I don't really think you did that bad, but I am with you.. I need to get back to the basics of the band. It is rainy and chilly here today, so this morning I browned some stew beef cubes and put it in the crockers with potatoes, onions, carrots, broth and water, (and seasoning) PERFECT FOR A DAY LIKE TODAY! Here is hoping Robby makes good choices today! He asked me yesterday why he had to go to THAT school? Why couldn't he just go to ANOTHER school! (this is my little control freak trying to control WHERE he goes to school) I went through a long speech, about it was our neighborhood school, and he would be going there through 5th grade, and at the end he just let out a big sigh while looking out the truck window and said "OK" He then fell asleep at 5:30P and slept all night! OK.. have a great day.. I'll check back later.

Hello all! At home listening to it thunder and rain....... Had a chiro appointment this morning and now I AM VERY VERY SORE. I also met with one of my RNY friends.. she's 4 years out, but now she has other health issues.......... namely a knee replacement, and now they are testing her for RA, she has been on predisone for about a month or so, and she is gaining weight. But she is still around 20 lbs from her lowest post op weight... she had a tt and breast lift two years ago and is ready for a retighten (she was well over 200 ) when she had it the first time.. she wonders if her slow healing and over all poor health is related to her RNY....... and what can I say? She can't go back now.... and she ate, soup, salad and bought a LC cheesecake to take home...... (so she IS doing things right) and she looks so much better than she did at 320 lbs! HH: How did the apt go? Suzie: Are you counting points at WW? Laura: How ARE you doing on the no smoking thing? Jane: Sorry you have the sniffles Haydee: How did the BBQ go for the guys at work? Tracy: Yeah, but its the teachers that won't do anything until he smacks them on the hand or arm........ so frustrating! Terry: I am in awe of your talent!!!!! Kat: How did the game go? Jenn: what's up with snuggles? Gina: How are you doing? Tonya: When is your next cruise? Judy: Glad your back from your latest cruise! Who am I missing?????

Jane: Robby has only been diagnosed with a HARD HEAD! :Dancing_biggrin: He knows the difference, he just makes bad choices, in the instant, I picked him up yesterday and the afternoon worker said he had been good the last half of the day............. BUT we did have more drama... CODY (the 13 year old ended up in the ER! 26 stitches in the knee) DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA....... he and the dog were playing in the back yard ,the dog jumped on his back and he fell onto a bike, his knee caught the handlebar or something and split his knee wide open..... He called in hysterics because blood was gushing out. I told him to apply pressure and I would be there in a minute.... CALGONG TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!! But I am leave work early to meet a friend who is in KC for a dr appointment. Going to the chiro, and getting out of here.

My head is about to explode............ DS is on the short list from getting kicked out of before/after school care......... and the thing is he told them, ok, I've been bad enough. it's time to send me home now............. (INSERT EXPLODING HEAD) Today school is out and so he's been in all day care. I had a feeling it would be bad today, because he was clingy when I left him this morning, and we've had all weekend just he and I...... I am totally at my wits end, he is so damn hard headed and smart at the same time. He turns it on and off at will, and he LIKES getting the attention, good or bad, he LIKES going to the principal, because she is a nice lady, HE LIKES going to the counselor because she has a DOG......... He LIKES when I have to pick him up.............. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. He knows he will have consequences tonight, HE KNOWS, but it is that instant gratification of RiGHT then.. not listening, not standing still, not following directions because he is pushing all his boundaries, and the teachers feel like they are hog tied as to NOT being firm with him. I'm like... (for the love of God, turn on your drill seargent voice

Good morning! I bounced back down to the 170's today! Tracy: Maybe next picture go round you could volunteer to help at Macy's school and get the pics FREE like I did. Robby had a melt down at school yesterday.. SERIOUS meltdown... He was put into a MANDT hold or something. He hit, he spit, he kicked, he tried to head butt........ but when it comes to the acedemics, he scores 5 out of 5 on reading tests ...... Needless to say, I ate an entire bag of popcorn With 1/2 stick of butter.... I'm really hoping that yesterday was the bottom for him, as we all know that he is pushing boundries. Parent/Teacher conferences are tomorrow and Charles is planning to go with me. I have to wonder if I should of kept him out for another year.. as he barely made the age cut off... but his size is that of a 7 year old and with SHREK's DNA, and mine, he is going to be a big kid. I have really worked on his sugar intake and making sure that he is not FAT, His Bio dad was always the big fat kid and the two half siblings that I know are both very obese as 11 &12 year olds. The people in that side of the family, are ALL VERY SUPRISED that Robby is not fat.. yes he's a big kid, thick and solid, but not bloated looking........ I'm also very aware that Robby could of inherited other DNA characteristics, which is why I'm ON IT now.. nipping it in the bud, giving him the tools he needs to control his emotions...... AHHH you can tell I am stressed...........but he is in the right class. I know that. OK.............. enough of the kid drama............ I hatched a plan yesterday (a plan in my head) I am going to work on getting my insurance to pay SOME portion of my surgery. I DO have the coverage IF medically necessary.... One of the things that the doc mentioned to me was on my breasts I would need a slight reduction and then a lift....... And my back has been hurting every night for MONTHS.. to the point that I've been wearing two bra's during the day for extra support....... SO I am going to the Chiropractor today and get documentation that my back is out of whack, headaches, neck aches, due to the amount of breast tissue pulling at me.... IF I can get my insurance to pay at least part of it, I can then put the rest on my FLEX card (because it would be deemed medically necessary) While I'm at it.. I'm going to get the doc to document ALL my loose skin, arms, stomach, etc... and say what the hell.. submit it and see what comes back. IF I can get the reduction covered it would just then be the charge for the TT , since facility, anestheisa and those combo things would be charged off. (it is a long shot) but with the economy and the credit providers closing up, its pretty much my only shot........... if anything it has given me a shot of hope...... and if it doesn't work, then I can at least get a quote and know what to shoot for. Everyone have a great day!

So Sad & Disheartened Today
Take heart! Call your doc and discuss your needs! They don't want you gaining like crazy, and explain with your particular situation you have NO restriction so you feel like you need more fill than 4 cc's.

Suzie!!!! LOVE THE Funny face pic! I am off the crap eating...... and back to being in control. Last night I really wanted something sweet, but it was past 8 p.m. so I went into the living room and refused to go NEAR the kitchen for the rest of the night! This morning I had 1/2 a chicken burrito (made for me by my mom for my birthday) amazing that I can eat it! I am also slowly training UNO the wonderdog how to be CALM inside the house! Very hard to do with boys who want to wrestle and play. I'm trying to get them to understand that he NEEDS to learn how to just lay down and be calm since winter is coming and we don't want him to be stuck in the kennel all day. Right now he has a huge fenced in yard to play in all day. I did manage to drink 90 oz's of water yesterday!~ Going for two days in a row. Scale was back at 182 again.

LOVED the pic Terry! OK, so I had my 20th class reunion over the weekend it went really well, and I had a much better time than I thought I would (but the rum most likely had something to do with it!) I pretty much flitted from one group to another taking a bunch of pics. This is the same way I was in HS.. hung with many different groups but never really a part of ONE. I had a bad eating night on Friday....... my niece turned 18 and they made homeade wontons........... and I had NO problem eating them.. so without exageration I had NO LESS than 8. I didn't even bother to count.. and no water to speak of........ not to mention the leftover cookies from Open Enrolment have been my breakfast..... so today I faced the scale........ 182.4 imagine if I didn't have any water weight. My mom made me her famous pork burrito's for my birthday and I'm eating the last two today..... So I've come clean........ here is a pic of me at my reunion!

I have PCOS and is why I was infertile for so long. The main symptom I had was irregular periods and infertility. I was diganosed by the director of reproductive medicine at a Research hospital back when I was 22-23 (going through infertility testing) it was somewhat NEW at that time, at that time he told me it was just my body type and that there was nothing to be done about it. NOW they have meds for it. This is why lots of formerly infertile gals get preggo when doing a Low Carb diet. and why I attribute Robby to being an Atkins baby. After that dr. diagnosed me I was the one to educate my other doctors about it.... when I was heavy into Atkins, I answered a bunch of research questions after reading an open call in the old Atkins Advantage magazine........... ended up talking to 60 minutes producers about it and almost made the cut for the show......... anyway. I am very proud to have been part of the CURE for PCOS. My neice has it, and because I kept hounding my sister about it they had her checked. It is becoming more common but for a long time it was an undiagnosed disease, and yes, Tracy I'm 100% postive that you have it too. I have my lovely annual pap today!! JOY OF JOYS!!!!
