Tomozo is the dayyyy my mum bought over a few bottles of champagne, we had a really nice dinner and desert (that i normally wouldnt have). lol i feel like it was the last supper!!! i feel relaxed after being a little piggie today but feel totally releived that today **was** the last piggie day for me!!! i let myself induldge a little, all while making my diet jellys and sorting through my veggies *some of which i have never eaten before* It seems i am one of the lucky ones that is actually alowed to eat on the pre op diet. up to 5 cups a day of certain vegies and half a cup a day of certain fruit. dont forget the stocks and flavour jelly/jello. herbs spices to change the taste for bit of fun. 3 optifast shakes a day too.... mellow now from the few glasses of celebration i shared with my mum and hubby (and the few mouthfuls of sprayed mashed vegies with my beautiful 9mth old) so it was a great way to close this chapter of my life. feel like im ready to move on as i have made such a day of it, truely celebrating and saying goodbye to my old habbits.:001_rolleyes:
  3. hey tiff....every day of discomfort that passes, is one less day that you are going to be in pain.. my fav saying is... another day closer, and with that in mind you will be back to normal in no time. another day closer to being settled. good luck tiff I have missed your posts.... get well soon!
  4. I want to be able to go the movies and not have to stress myself silly that someone is going to sit next to me so i have to hold my arms crossed the whole movie. thank god im not traveling anymore cause that was a pain too. 20 hours squishing myself into a small seat and cramping my arms to not make my neighbour uncomfortable because of my fat! that would be nice. pffft!!!! would also love to go through the $5 bargin tables at normal size peoples shops. buy something because i could!! never done that before. swimmers dont really worry me that much. heres one for you girls.... not have to pay $90 for a bra!!! I cant buy off the shelf... i have to go into a store in the city called big girls dont cry anymore.... all underwear for the larger girl...with the larger price tag of cource!
  5. Its ok....just make sure nobody sees you eat it and its free.... oh and the Cookies...make sure they are broken cause you know...they dont count either!!!

  7. thanks for the heads up. i will be sure to mention it. i have tryed to keep my hydration under control over the last few weeks since giving up the pepsi max. even today i was struck down and i have been drinking well. guess im just a bit scared of having headaches and not being able to guzzle Water down till it eases. i do carry water with me everywhere i go now (new habbit) and am now thinking it may actually be neck issues!!! might look into that before surgury!!!
  8. i read that about getting off caffeine here a few weeks ago...i think it was even you talking about it...lol took the good advice (where ever it came from) and kicked the pepsi max. i had headaches for 2 weeks straight! i knew it was the right thing to do i have been trying to kick many bad habbits, and also indulging in a few to **say goodbye** to them also. Hell....glad i dont drink coffee!!!!
  9. I loved the brain training ideas. *thin pic v's sweet* all written on the cards and placed around the house. is there any other ideas like that in this site? funny i use little quirkie things like this to save money, but i have never thought of doing it for my weight!!!! ohhh except once...I kept writting on my hand no...or stoppppp but it didnt work!!! grrr it was ment to be a reminder when i was putting food to my mouth. the ink would wear of or smudge and just irritate me! tattoo maybe!!!! little piggy on my hand!!!
  10. ohhhh bobbbbbbb lol i got stung twice too!!!! lol. the nurse took 2 viles of blood and then patched me up. as she was checking the tubes and tagging them, and also checking against the referal, she realised that she forgot to take the zinc vile. she was very sorry for the trouble and decided to go in the same spot!!!AAUUUGGGGGGG. My surgury is not booked for 10th Aug bob.... so i will wish you some good luck on the 3rd. cheers...
  11. OK so it was on working day 19 that i rang up and asked how my application was going. they were delighted to tell me over the phone that the application had been approved a few days ago.... he then told me that it would take about another 5 working days to receive the the approval. (which meant i wouldnt make my payment on time therefore having to put my date back a week... bugga!!) Working day 20 I get my letter???? weirdos.... I was about to send the grant to my super fund so they can release the money but was reading the very last line where it says to ring the super fund to see if they have any release forms that have to be sent *with* the grant letter. lucky i caught that one! rang them up and they send some forms that i got in the mail day 21. I was on to them straight away with a certified copy of my drivers licence and back in the box at day 21. there is a 5 to 10 day wait on that one too!!! we will see.

Ok Ok.... soooo the good news....i took the liberty of calling APRA today (to see if my supperanuation release had been approved) and YIPPYYYYYYY they approved it!!! I was totally stoked until....... *plays dramatic music, bar bar barrrr bar BARRRRRRRRRRR* its going to take about a week to send me the paperwork. i was straight away going shyttttt bugga pizzz bunnnn farttttt! I have to make the payment 1 week prior to surgury which means im not gonna make it!!! esp when i called my super people and they need a few working days to send THEIRRRRR paper work out then i have to translate their paperwork into checques for each bunch of people involved in my surgury!!!! theres another 2 days!!!!!! :001_rolleyes: Now the next story is my date has been put back to 10 Aug now... and i know its only a week....but in that week i could of already lost a few pounds and been well on my way to recovery and 1 week post op *slaps self for dribbleing on* Sighs..... get over it hey! its a week! ohhh adn hope to hell it doesnt get put back another week while im waiting for all this bulk paper work to come in!!!! (wheres the smilie that pulls hair out??) guess there is a good reason they are all bald right!!! *laughs* bad when i can laugh at my own bad joke the ironic part about all this is for the last week i have been emptying all my *healthy food* finishing it all up and not buying anymore, ready for the opti fast diet that i was ment to be starting on monday.... and sure as my butt points to the ground, im having to play the game for another week! lolololol *slaps self again* at least i got the dietition and blood work tomoz! theres a start. deep breath.

  15. very true angel. as it turns out i am in the proccess of answering that. i submitted the paper work 14 working days ago but on working day number 11 they rang me asking me to show proof of my applications for a personal loan/ rejection from financial service. of cource i neally had heart failure! so....on day 11 i trundled right over to the bank started applications for a bank loan..... sure enough we are too broke for a loan, and out comes the rejection letter.... i picked it up on day 12 and faxed it straight away. day 14 they write me saying i need proof of failed personal loan..... **upside down** i call them up and say i faxed this on day 12 and am just calling to make sure it made it to the office (again) now they cant tell me how long its going to be...i think my application went to the bottom of the pile!!!! BUGGA!

  20. I have suffered headache and migrain all my life and am a little worried about the posibility of exposing myself to crippling pain if i cant get the fluids in. I drink 3-4 Litres a day to try and keep hydrated. I'm a little confused about Fluid intake. Is it only in the first few weeks that you can only take small sips, but after that you can drink much more??? is everyone different in here with the amounts they can drink. Has anyone else had any of these kinds of problems pre and post op? food Water and sleep always catch me out. thanks in adv.

  23. I know this is going to sound silly, but i have come to the conclusion (after many years of slimming) that our bodies are like extreme drought or flood weather. Australians have just come out of an 8 year drought in which time we were all madly saving Water, keeping it safe as we dont know when the next rain will come.... save save saveeeee (in the trunk it goes) now that the floods have come and the dams are around 80%, people have started to use water more freely, we have relaxed our water restrictions and breathed a sigh of releif. Use use use (out the trunk it goes) I also found this to be true with pregnancy and swelling. even with my weight, i didnt swell untill i was 41 weeks pregnant! I drank water by the bucket load and so my body didnt have to store any! My trainer once told me "there is no such thing as a 'diet', because in our hearts we know what we should and should not be eating" its true! Soooo bring on the variety of a controled rain, as we know this can be done for life without overloading our trunks. Good luck Ice. I hope my theory that I am using can help you. :001_tt2:
  24. I had a little chuckle with this wasa...what a classic. i think i can laugh cause i know how you feel! thankyou for making my day!:001_tt2:
