Not to be rude, but spend the money on the adjustments, get commited to the "program" . Have blood work done to check all your vit/mineral levels, thyroid, Take some B vit that helps with lifes outlook, if you need to take something for depression.. talk to your dr. I dont know you so It is hard to say what is going on for you. Be honest with yourself and your choices. It can be tough but it can get to the root of most our problems. Find a buddy you can work with and that will kick your butt. Very helpful I have found! If all else fails..... SUE MCDONALDS, or the fast food industry. You will have a better chance winning that one if you know what I mean. Heck sue your momma for the early food education. but honestly I don't think you have a leg to stand on suing the surgeon, he/she did nothing wrong.

I wish I knew it was an option a few year ago, I would have done it in a heartbeat, but thankful now that I have made this choice.

Honestly I feel as though I was well informed. AND I know myself well.... I even started seeing a therapist just before my first consult because I wanted to have every advantage. I knew this wasn't magic, but I knew that having the cop in my stomach and a medical team to back me I would have the best chance at success. I am so pleased with my after care etc. Reading this board before surgery really helped too. Continuing is a great advantage... I can't imagine fending for myself after surgery.

maybe your pouch is stretched... if the restriction is good and you can still eat a bunch?

I have been banded for 3 month and have "vomited" 3 times total, once over a piece of chicken, piece of pot roast ( I think it was really the hoagie roll I thought I was going to eat it with LOL ) and once over a piece of aldente brocolli, that was at at restaurant.... so I made it to the bathroom without looking distressed ;o) each time has been "my bad" and it is spaced out. This week I have really good restriction glad I learned the lessons before this last fill!

I am thrilled with you! I had my second fill too on Monday... Now I truely feel restriction and fullness! I am SO excited. And boy do I feel it if I do not chew well! WHOO HOOO I also started logging my meals again at livestrong.com the my daily plate. I got lazy after my first fill. and as a result I only lost 3lb in 2 months... well this week I have lost 2.5 lb already !!!!!!! back on track.. my tummy cop is back on duty!

Yes that is how I get there... I don't think I will be able to do it this time as I have someone to come and watch the 7 month old I care for while I am gone. Hate to add more time on her day... My first appt is the fill, at 12:20 then 1pm, then 1:30 Yes under Floro is in Radiology..this will be my first one there. other one was in the office by feel. We will find a time to hook up... I feel some free time coming on LOL... I don't think I will have my 7 month old much longer.. parent is no longer working:sad: then I have only school age kids left. I will begin school March 3rd to become a Holistic Health Care Provider I can't wait! School will be in Escondido. :biggrin: This is such a great year!

Actually, I am annoyed... I have the Mirena for almost 3 yrs now I think... never got any period except the begining when it was inserted. Since the week of surgery I have 4 full fledged periods... perhaps due to weight loss? dunno but it is annoying!

I wish your fill was Monday the 1st... Then we could hook up. I am going in for a fill and my re-psych eval, and follow up with Dr Horgan. Have you had a fill under floro yet? that is what I am doing on this on coming up.

Yes I am Post Op now I had surgery Nov 4th. I love them over there. They even have the comical side and it is great! I have my next appt on Feb 1st.... I have my second fill, Psyche re eval, and follow up with Dr Horgan.

I believe you are correct BJean. You cannot speak ill of someone you are praying for. Not to mention if you are not part of the solution you are a part of the problem. Chose your side. It is not about politics, and who is right it is about having a successful healthy nation.

AMEN.... Why don't we pray for his well being and Gods guidance rather than undermine his work? Lets stop celebrating his short comings. Rally behind our leader and be the best we can be! Lets unite for the good of humanity. After all it is our future too! No matter Republican, Democrate, Independent, or what religion we follow. wow I am glad I am not the only one learning the wrath of my band... thought I was the only one blowing it! I need to turn in food log to schedule my second fill, seems most of you are on your second..... I am ready! I am so excited for this year! Half way to goal and I know it is going to be more challenging now. I MUST get real on my exercise efforts to get the second half done! I feel so empowered. My self confidence is really begining to rocket and my dearest friends are so excited to see the changes in me. DH is somewhat floored and I don't know if he will handle it. That is ok and I am ready... I am ready for MY future.

I have 4.25 cc I have pretty much this week gone back to automating what I am eating..... Isopure mixed in my coffee... healthy choice, lean cuisine or the like for lunch, small snack.... and small plate of dinner eating the protein first hoagie rolls and bagels are NOT my friend LOL orowheat thins and ezekiel bread are good.... tortillas are ok . Haven't bothered with sandwich bread cookies (homemade) would be my slider of choice... now the holidays are over I am fairly safe.

I need to go in again too... Unless I don't chew something really well I have to have the will power to stop myself. I think I gained 2 pounds but not certian.... how many cc do you have now?

soexcited I am happy for you! Jeni , sounds good to me. I had my first PB, Sliming ... what ever you want to call it. Wow was that ever interesting... what a waste of potroast I tell yah. It was bizzare. I guess I didn't chew well enough or it was the peice of hoagie roll I tried to eat with it? after I settled down I went back to the potroast, left the bread behind and made sure I chewed... it went down fine. Here I was thinking it is time to try another fill... .Perhaps I need to work what I have got for a while longer and see ;o)

I guess the republicans would be happier if Obama was using the money to build more bombs etc to kill more people rather than trying to help our own country... bring the money home... educate, and care for out people. Oh wait lets send it all to china... we could borrow more from them to buy oil ;o)

Me too at this juncture. I am so sorry I voted for Bush the first time... What an Error! and I was Pissed he got office the 2nd time. Obama is not God, but I am sure he prays a lot and listens. He is a man doing the best he can with what he has .... I admire his is well thought out and makes moves ... and OMG he admits a mistake and says he is sorry. He is not perfect but Honorable. I would love to see any of you who critizize him do any better. Also you have to remember he is privy to info we do not have so sometimes we will not understand or agree in his actions.

Maybe we see the more spending because back alley cronie deals aren't as prevelant and he is telling us what he is doing with our money and what he expects? just a thought

I ordered my daughter a Bento Box that is on the site 2.0 version the one with the black case with the flowers on it. I ordered it on Amazon and saved $8 ( I used the money toward buying spare containers ;o) her birthday is next month and she really liked the Bento and wanted one, she is 12 and takes a lunch to school daily. I hope she uses it well!
