PG that is between me and my G*D. and if you remember I clearly stated that i belived that was a man who said that and not G*D. I don't need to hide behind religion to to breed hate like you. i have a very honest and loving relationship with G*D, and unlike you my G*D doesn't teach hate and intolerance, only compassion and love.

I get upset because u feel like u can bash the lifestyle of a whole people and hide behind G*D saying it is wrong, there were religion before christianity, don't u think if christianty was the only way to interpret the word of G*D it would have been the first and only religion? Obviously it wasn't and isn't and it is not your place to tell people if they are sinning. People have their own personal relationship with G*D and don't need your warped opinion. your holier than thou attitude is not wanted here or anywhere, if you want to preach go to church, but to continually write how we all are sinners is getting old and is offensive, not only to me, but to anyone whose beleifs are different from yours.

are you really comparing law abiding gay citizens to theives? Gay marriage in this instance isn't a religious issue... there is seperation of church and state. homosexual men and women pay their taxes, voluenter in their comunities etc... they deserve the same rights as other citizens of the united states... ever hear that little saying reguardless of race, relegion, sex , creed or sexual orientation. PG Please.... really? do u hear yourself??? first of all, i don't beleive u were there when the good lord wrote the ten comandments ( without a pen and paper I might add). You also have not done much reading about history and kings who ruled the church to get people to do what he(the king) wanted using G*D as a scare tactic to get his subjects to do his bidding. second you hide behind the bible and blame G*D for your bigotry. at some point some human being decided they thought homosexuality was wrong and wrote it down in the name of G*D. I think to u everything is a sin... maybe u should start praying that G*D guide you in your ways to be accepting of others. I think you are sinning by passing judgement as you say G*D would. G*D loves all his children and would not be angry for a lifestyle that one was born into. He would hardly call men and women sinners who are living their lives honorably and honestly reguardless if they shared that life with someone of the same sex. Your theology is what breeds hate and ugliness and evil crimes. Hitler beleived that what he was doing was G*Ds bidding because Jews were less than white christians.... and he did what he did in the name of G*D. White slave owners thought blacks were not completly human and therefore would not give them the rights they deserved... again in the name of G*D... they thought they were good christians!!! thank you beth, i appreciate you saying that. I do not find you offensive at all, I do find PG to be somewhat offensive and hateful. I have seen her on other posts and she is very neg. always. I feel like she's a very unhappy woman. I don't ever mind differences in opinion, and I respect your opinion as it isn;t laced with hate. so again thanks! I know what im about to say next is really gonna get u bible quoters crazy, but here goes anyway... many men wrote the bible... maybe with inspiration from G*D, but I can assure you that HE didn't sit down with a pen and paper and condemn homsexuality... and also many of the "sins" were made up again by man to rule people and control people in ways that the church saw fit. NOT G*D. you can quote scripture till the cows come home, but I'll live my life and conduct my moral code by the ten comandments which I DO beleive was by the hand of the LoRd. the rest I leave to some good story telling. amy

hi poconomom, Im glad u are doing so well. Im one of the rare ones who have restriction (so far) without a fill, but my weight loss has slowed since I have started eating real food. I eat about 4oz of food at a time and eat something every three to four hours. i think I lose 1-3 lbs a week now. I just would like to wear jeans and stuff without it being uncomfortable. You'll be down under 200 in no time, just keep working at it... yeah i have to start moving more too... Im going to my doc on wed. and want to get cleared before I do any strenuous exercise. I can't feel my port and besides when I push down around the site, it is still a bit sore. good luck and hope to hear about your progress! amy

wow I guess i've been away from this thread for a while. I most certainly would have defended myself against PG. First I have to say that I beleive whole heartedly that people are born gay. I do not beleive that anyone would choose to be treated as a sub species... (which sadly I think still happens in this world) I think her interpretation of the bible is way off. I think people forget that many can read the same passage in the bible and walk away with many different ideas as far as the meaning. I am Jewish and in my upbringing we were taught to love, to be the best person u can, to respect others and be tolerent. I was never told that G*D would love me less if I were gay. I think there are many people of the cloth that do not view homosexuality as a sin, nor do they interpret the bible as saying so. I think PG and many others interpret the bible to suit their bigitry and hate and intollerance. I love my children... and if as they grow they realize that they are gay, I will love them, and support them in any way I can. hate is ugly as we can all see and testify to. amy

I was also banded on march 20th. I haven't gotten a fill and don't want one at this time. I have good restriction... I eat 4oz of food at a time and stay full for between 3-4 hours. I don;t eliminate any food that I like, but have mostly stayed low carb. I have had pizza, and i don't feel guilty for anything i eat. I also am one of the lucky ones who doesn't have any problem with any foods (knock on wood). I think if u are hungry often and can eat bigger portions a fill will probably be the answer. my best friend got the band, and it took him two years to find his sweet spot. everyone is different. I think u really have to listen to what your body is telling u. how has the weight loss been for u all since surg?? at firat I was losing like crazy and now im down to about 1-3lbs a week. thanks all, it a really annoying problem!! i am very short (5') so its hard to find jeans that are low on me lol. my 20s are too big and the 18s fit but then i have my port issue! uggh such a pain in the port! lol amy

Hi all amy here, im just realizing that if i wear anything(such as jeans) a little tight that my port area gets sore. Is that normal? is it bad for your port aka... can it become lose(ur port)? Im 5 weeks out and would like some feedback. thanks all! amy
