  1. Mandy, That's good. It's always nice to hear the postive things about a person.
  2. Mandy, She did spend alot of time on here. The numbers don't lie. Helloo???? 7 posts per day and she's been gone for what? 2 months? Still 7 posts average per day? Come on! She was on here daily, giving sometimes good advice and sometimes calling people horrible things that not even your worst enemy would call you. She was spending waaaay too much time on here. Oh and she would openly state that she would come to the forum just b/c her forum buddies would email or call her to tell her that some people on the forum should be put in their place. That's soo highschool. Think about it. When things get to be that downright dirty and silly, it's time to push away. She did that. She's out spending more time doing things that make her happy then actually spending time here arguing over things that don't matter. That's the point I was making about "living life". Capiche?
  3. I'm in agreement with P'Nut about the peace and quiet, as well with DonnaB, about how it's ok to abuse others but still demand respect. Even in your own family (LBT family too) there are people you will not get along with. You don't HAVE to like or even love them. It's your choice. So while some of you love the drama, others don't. One thing I've noticed is even though she's been gone for a bit, she's still the highest thread poster. No one has caught up to her. Think maybe she spent too much time on here. Now she's out living life. Good for her.
  4. I nominated you. Good Luck.
  5. Here here Paul! Here here! Luna, it's ok to be indecisive about making a full, lifetime committment to something such as this. It's very smart of you to second question it. One day though, I'm sure you will make the right decision for you.
  6. Hi Stephanie and Yay for you and your hubby with the 3 miles. That's truly an accomplishment. You HAVE to be proud! Biking is great fun, freedom feeling kinda workout. Just strap on an iPod or MP3 player and you won't even know you biked 10+ miles.
  7. Luna, even if I never get a fill or lose anymore weight, the weight loss so far was well worth the money.
  8. Dang! Now you see why I don't want to get a fill. It just freaks me out.
  9. Thank you for sharing Aussiechick. I now can truly visualize what will happen when I have a full TT. You look great!
  10. Will take another belly photo after my 7 mile trudge..see if there's a difference.
  11. Will take another belly photo after my 7 mile trudge..see if there's a difference.
  12. Oh and BTW, I woke up the other day, stood up from my bed and went to fluff my blanket's, low and behold there was a freshly squished huge wolf spider in under where my butt was. I must have killed it while I slept but it was definately looking to cop a feel or a bite.. My sister-in-law woke up a few years ago to a really tender, red area on her thigh and come to find out, 2 days later, she had been stung by a scorpion. She fluffed her blankets and saw it, dead. shake your blankets before you sleep. Especially here in Florida. I killed this scorpion last week, running down my hallway next to my kid's bathroom..
  13. Hehehe, my husband calls all larger than normal spiders "Wolf Spiders". His greatest fear are the what 8 legged freaks. He has the biggest case of aracnaphobia you'll ever know. LOL, he uses spatulas to kill em, not even his own foot. He's that fearful of them. It's so cute.
  14. How about we focus our energies on exercise, living more active, healthier lives? Whoa, that's an idea.:usa:
  15. *sighs................................*
  16. I simply say, "No thanks, I'm good." Then I fill up on water so I feel full and not be tempted. Drinking alot of water really curbs your appetite and makes you feel full fairly quickly. It's an old trick.
  17. I'm in Kissimmee and so far I have not had a fill but I did sign up with www.fillcentersusa.com They called last week to see if I found another office to do my fills but I let them know that they were first on my list should I decide it's time for one. They seem cool.
  18. OOoooo I didn't see this msg. Thank you Lookingout! It's a really awesome feeling when you know you help motivate others to be better, healthier people. You have to know that you guys do the same for me. I come here to get motivated as well. Though I had taken a 2 week break from LBT, I did not stop working out as usual. I'll never stop. Rock on everyone!:peace::rockon:
  19. 35.4 mile bike ride this morning - completed 4.2 mile run/jog - completed
  20. Aww gee. Thank you. Losing hair is temporary unless it's a gradual hair loss, hereditary/genetic kinda thing. I'm not worried. I'm glad my husband is warming up to me. He was in quite a bit of image shock of me. Ali, glad you are back on track. It's normal to take a break from the craziness of working out and calorie counting. I have taken 2 days in a row breaks and it's helped me and my muscles heal. I've torn so much muscle doing what I do but I'm good now. Breaks are really good for you. I hope everyone is enjoying their last few weeks of summer. I sure am. Love you guys and I'll see you soon. Been working on my belly lots. 400 crunches every other day and long bike rides.
  21. Dang Melody! We are both at the same weight loss. You must be kicking some serious ass over there! You are awesome, do you know that? Piercedqt, I'd love to meet you! I'll keep an eye out for you as time gets closer.
  22. Hahahahaha... *watches Luna trip, rushes over ....sticks out her hand to help her up* That's a cool cause. Gosh.. I don't know if I should keep growing hair to snip it away for them. Surely feels good.
  23. My dog is out of shape. She couldn't do a mile if it would save her life. I need to get her out more. 6.5 mile run yesterday, 400 crunches Plan for today 7 mile run/jog today on home treadmill with 5lbs weights each ankle 400 crunches 15 reps, 3 sets bicep curl with 20lb weights 15 reps, 3 sets of tricep curls20lb weights 50 squats with 50lb weight on shoulders 50 lounges with 20lb weights
  24. With the wonderful advice of dear EmileeKaye, whom in which is always thoughtful and kind hearted, I did contact Locks of Love out of Lake Worth Florida and they need hair. 10inches in the minimum length and it has to be a lock ..not floor hair or strands. I'm glad my husband snipped it the right way. The hair is in the mail. Thanks Emileekaye. I love the fact that they do this for children, www.locksoflove.com P.S., still 165lbs, but maybe down soon.. I'm not worried.
  25. Look whose talking Iulizbug!!! You were 241 now 174!!! that's 67lbs 5 months... exceeding 10lbs per month by dropping 13.4lbs per month. You rock Iulizbug!!! You are 14lbs away from goal and that's impressive to say the least! Imagine that. Reaching goal weight in 6 - 7 months of surgery. Quite impressive.
