  1. Traditional Lap-Band surgery usually involves five small incisions into the abdominal cavity. Most of these are no more than one to two inches in length. These are used for placement of cameras and surgical equipment. If necessary, a larger incision may be made, up to five or more inches in some cases. This is rare, as it usually only happens during a complication or if the Lap-Band is being placed during another procedure, such as a tubal ligation or other surgery. Thanks

  5. Think about Lap Band Surgery. It's good. Furthermore it's good to discuss with your medical practitioner. Thanks
  6. Dumping syndrome occurs when food enters the bloodstream too quickly. It is a common effect of gastric bypass surgery because the natural stomach outlet (pyloric valve) has been removed and food enters the small intestine more quickly. Gastric bypass patients commonly experience dumping syndrome after eating sweets or high-fat foods, eating too much food, or drinking fluids with meals. Think about it. Take more suggestions from your medical practitoner. Good luck with your decision. Cheers

  9. As for as i am concerned, Nilesh A. Patel, MD, FACS, and Brent Bell, MD, are board-certified surgeons who specialize in weight loss surgery. Together, they have performed more than 2,500 successful bariatric surgeries. Their practice was recently featured in Newsweek magazine's showcase section as one of the top bariatric programs in the state. All the best...
  10. Begin or resume an exercise program with which you are comfortable. Aerobic exercise can boost the rate at which you lose weight and get better your cardiovascular health. Talk to your medical doctor about starting a post op diet before you begin. Take the Vitamins and dietetic supplements recommended by your doctor.
  11. I would like to add one most important thing...The Lap-Band is not a magic pill. You still have to work to lose weight. You have to watch what you eat, and you have to exercise. Take Care
  12. I have already mentioned in my signature. Its Informative. www.freelapbandsurgery.com
  13.    Cocoabean reacted to a post in a topic: loose skin
  14. The Band is made of silicone rubber, and cannot be rejected. Of course it can become infected and require removal, but this is not the same as being rejected like a transplanted organ. Most surgeons use antibiotics to prevent infection, but rarely, some patients may develop an infection around the port site.
  15. Lap band surgery failure is that you will will need to avoid sugary foods like candy as well as carbonated drinks (beer included), as they are of no nutritional value and truly destroy points your physique needs, for instance vitamins.
  16. Wow, that is Good! You should be very happy you are getting it done so quick! No need to worry. The gastric band system can be tailored to help you reach your weight loss goals. Be Happy
