Hello, I just had my surgery on the 16th and doing really good. This is a good site to get support. How are you since your surgery?

Hi just found this thread. Wondering if anyone was still on here . Just started my 3 month diet .

I check this thread every so often but it seems as though people have stopped posting to it! I would love if it was up and going again!

Oh wow! Good to know someone's still out there on this forum.

I was banded last Thursday (11/18). Its been an interesting week to say the least. I'm just now really feeling a little more like "myself." I only stayed on Clear liquids for the first 3-4 days, but I had no energy so my mom "graduated" me to tomato Soup (even though I could only get a few swallows at a time).

My challenge now is finding creative ways to eat liquid foods. My blender and I are best friends, but some things don't liquify very easily. I also could use some suggestions for foods to eat during my first week back at work. I may/may not have access to a microwave, depending on my schedule, so I need more ideas for sipping on the go.

Any suggestions?

Its looks like some of the more recent posts didn't get moved over after the LBT changes to the site. I posted here a week or so ago. I hope it gets going again.

Hi guys, I am here browsing the site. I am looking for any input, I have surgery in less 10 days and I feel so lost. I have no idea what I should be doing but I am feeling pretty lost and a little scared of the unknown.

What are your concerns? What's got you feeling lost?

Well, I guess the most important thing to do is follow your doctor's orders. It's not as bad as it seems though. The worst part for me was the gas after surgery! I hate GAS! LOL! They have to fill your belly up with gas in order to go in there with the camaras and everything to see good I guess. Well, I think a lot of it was still in me after surgery because I was gassy for 2 weeks.

Thanks for the input...

Well, how did your surgery go? I hope it went well for you! I'm sorry all I could think about was how bad the gas was? To be honest that is all I could remember!

I would like to add one most important thing...The Lap-Band is not a magic pill. You still have to work to lose weight. You have to watch what you eat, and you have to exercise. Take Care
