what kind of inscion is used with lap band
Traditional Lap-Band surgery usually involves five small incisions into the abdominal cavity. Most of these are no more than one to two inches in length. These are used for placement of cameras and surgical equipment. If necessary, a larger incision may be made, up to five or more inches in some cases. This is rare, as it usually only happens during a complication or if the Lap-Band is being placed during another procedure, such as a tubal ligation or other surgery. Thanks

Lap band revision to Gastric bypass
Dumping syndrome occurs when food enters the bloodstream too quickly. It is a common effect of gastric bypass surgery because the natural stomach outlet (pyloric valve) has been removed and food enters the small intestine more quickly. Gastric bypass patients commonly experience dumping syndrome after eating sweets or high-fat foods, eating too much food, or drinking fluids with meals. Think about it. Take more suggestions from your medical practitoner. Good luck with your decision. Cheers

port removal due to infection
The Band is made of silicone rubber, and cannot be rejected. Of course it can become infected and require removal, but this is not the same as being rejected like a transplanted organ. Most surgeons use antibiotics to prevent infection, but rarely, some patients may develop an infection around the port site.

failure...were you worried??
Lap band surgery failure is that you will will need to avoid sugary foods like candy as well as carbonated drinks (beer included), as they are of no nutritional value and truly destroy points your physique needs, for instance vitamins.
