Finally Full
after 8 months and several fills, I am finally losing about 2 pounds per week and feel like the band is finally working for me. It took awhile to get here but if you are feeling the same way, be patient. I wanted immediate results but my surgeon went slow and I did not loose too fast and my vitamin levels are good. HAPPY AT LAST and down 50 pounds with 20 left to go!

- I'm full!....No, I'm hungry!!!
I feel the same way. I have about 7cc in a 10cc band and I am still not losing weight. Lost 25 but have 50 more to go. Feel like I wish they would totally fill it at first, then take saline out as needed. At least I would have lost a ton of weight by now! SO FRUSTRATED! Banded Oct 2010- 3rd fill
just had my 3rd fill and I am up to 6.5-just got filled today so I am HOPING for some good restriction (I just want to be satisfied with less food) HELP!- how to lose weight with lap band
also, the peanut butter that i did eat was on toast not a spoonful-not sure if I could do that.....- how to lose weight with lap band
but HOW did you do it?? Was it the band or the choices that you made. I know this can work if I don't eat but I thought this was supposed to be a tool and help me. Maybe I am asking for too much. I do not think I am too tight, I can eat anything just not chicken and bread. I just want this to work for me......- how to lose weight with lap band
Please help! Chicken, meat, peanut butter, vegtables, bread get stuck-but isn't that what I am supposed to eat?- i need help to eat right
I feel like I can eat pretty much anything as well (banded on Oct 29th 2 fills so far) but the things I am supposed to eat (protein vegs get stuck) but the things that keep me alive (or at the same weight) cottage cheese, yogurt, etc) go down fine. I am having a hard time with this-should I just eat stuff that gets stuck so I wont EAT?????? Maybe thats the way it works?- 3 fills so far, little restriction, slow weight loss - super frustrated
I feel the same way. Was banded Oct 29 started at 225 and have only lost 15 pounds. had my 2nd fill yesterday and still no change. I only have trouble with chicken, bread, peanut butter otherwise EVERYTHING goes down just fine. I know I am porbably just not in the green zone yet but my friend who has a band has less cc's in hers nad cant not eat that much, and is losing! I am very frustrated as well. But I have to keep trying....hope you are doing better now how many cc's do you have in? I had 2.5 at surgery added 2 and added 1 yesterday (10cc band)- 3 fills so far, little restriction, slow weight loss - super frustrated
- bad food weekend
I had a really bad food weekend. Was doing SO WELL until I was stuck at home during a blizzard. Ate some christmas Cookies that I made and other things that went down TOO easily. I feel like I should not try new things becuz then I know they will go down ok and I will want to eat them. Oh well, enough beating myself up, this week is going to be good-BACK ON TRACK!- I look like a slob!
I feel the same way-I could take my pants off without unbuttoning them. It is a good thing but I want to wait to spend a lot on a new wardrobe. Wont be where I want to be til spring. Might just get some stretchy black leggings or something basic to get by til its will be really FUN to shop! Good luck!- What do you do when you have a stuck episode?
I have had a couple of episodes with that stuck feeling mostly after bread products. I kind of panic and start walking around, and then some of it comes up and I feel better. I read that meat tenderizer mixed with warm water helps if you drink it but I have not tried that (yet) - I'm full!....No, I'm hungry!!!
