Finally Full

after 8 months and several fills, I am finally losing about 2 pounds per week and feel like the band is finally working for me. It took awhile to get here but if you are feeling the same way, be patient. I wanted immediate results but my surgeon went slow and I did not loose too fast and my vitamin levels are good. HAPPY AT LAST and down 50 pounds with 20 left to go!

Yeah... doesn't it feel great. It took me a year to get to the "sweet spot"!

Keep up the good work!

I am just starting steady weight lost-3 months on the journey and things are finally moving forward. The band does require a lot of patience-it's not a quick fix for sure-but worth the wait!!:)

I haven't weighed this weight in soooo long-it feels great!

good job to everyone-just when you think there is no hope-I found lap band and yes it is just a tool, still lots of ork but it does feel so GOOD! Congrats to everyone

I am 7 weeks post op and down 45 pounds. I have had one fill and another is scheduled for this Friday. My Doc is moving slowly too but I find myself getting very hungry about 4 hours after eating. He does not want me to eat between meals but when you are so hungry that has been very hard. I look forward to my next fill and finding my "sweet spot". Have not had any vomiting or slimming and I am currently walking 2-3 miles per day and tossing in some swimming too. Good luck to all the bandsters out there and thanks so much for the support and the postings, it really helps to know you at not alone in this process.:D
