Boney AF 😤🦴
Since losing weight I can obviously feel my bones and see some of them a lot more now...but OH MY GOD, my coccyx...guys! It hurts SO MUCH when I am sitting down even for short periods of time and I can just feel it there sticking out! Anyone else have this issue? What helped? My butt needs relief 😂

How about a thread about how AWESOME things are?
I contributed in the more "negative" thread, so I will comment in the positive one too! I personally love how much my body is capable of now - I can exercise and enjoy it and really push myself to do things I never believed I'd be able to do. I can run and play with my nephew and not second guess if I am going to look out of place. I can wear most things that I want - I feel good in them and I have found that I am more confident day-to-day. I feel less seen - in some ways. If that makes sense. I don't feel that people are staring at me anymore for looking bigger. I feel like I can just fade into the background, and that makes me feel calmer.

My Bariatric Gripes: The Daily Annoyances Nobody Talks About! What's your gripe?
Hmm... a few things, really: Obsessions with numbers on a scale: reaaaaaaaaaally struggling with this one as of late. Had my first substantial weight gain since starting this journey - around 6lbs, I haven't updated my metrics yet - and it completely threw me. I have been going to the gym 4-5 times a week, weights & cardio etc, and I know weight fluctuates, and I am still in a healthy weight range, but that weight gain and the number on the scale has absolutely fucked with my head! My partner has had to hide the scales for me, and we've made a deal that I will only weigh myself once a month. I just am feeling like a failure right now, which I know is completely illogical and untrue. But my brain is my enemy at times! Hair loss: I have recently just chopped my hair jaw-length after my hair just decided to give up the ghost and it was becoming very fine and thin, and there just wasn't much volume at all! Still chasing the dream of one day having long lovely hair. My bones: Honestly wtf! 🤣 My coccyx bone is one of THE most painful things in this whole world when I am sitting down! Give me peace please 🤣

What is your strategy for getting in exercise
Honestly I didn't even start exercising until about 4-5 months post-op (bad I know 🤣), but I started with just setting myself the target of going to the gym once a week, just to do 30 mins of cardio or weights. I found that rather than setting myself massive targets like going 4 times a week when I have started from 0, I was less overwhelmed and more inclined to go. Once I actually built up that routine I managed to go 3-4 times a week and I actually started to look forward to it! Walking is easily the easiest thing to start incorporating into your day where possible, even if it is just a little bit a day!

Goal Weight
Thank you! I have kept losing weight at the moment - albeit not intentionally! But I am certainly feeling happier!

Do you have a piercing?
Kinda missing the whole point of this post 🤣

A Discussion for the Girls...
I will look into this then - I don't think sewing cups will work as it is a sheer dress, but I think ultimately if I don't find anything suitable, I will just have to wear the bra with it even though it shows a bit at the back! At the end of the day - people won't be looking at me, main focus is on the bride! 🤣

I shall do this when I am home later today! :D

A Discussion for the Girls...
So I have lost a significant amount of weight. When I started my journey my breast size was a 42GG, and I am now a 32E, but of course, with such massive weight loss, my breasts are just insane-looking (not in a good way) I have actually found myself being more self-conscious of my sagging breasts, compared to my tummy. They literally have no volume at all to them now and it is just empty hanging skin 😓 I am attending a wedding next month and I have a beautiful dress I am wearing, but the issue is is that it doesn't look quite right with a bra. I have tried a stick on bra but it looks awful with the skin just clinging to it without any volume. Ladies - does anyone have any advice here? <3

Absolutely shattered ??
@The Greater Fool I did about 4-5 months back I think and they were all normal - but I may request another! I bet you were glad when they turned that off!

Absolutely shattered ??
@BigSue oh wow! That is something I'd never even considered - I hope you are doing okay! thankfully my resting HR doesn't often drop into the 40s very often! It may get into the 50s sometimes but that is it!

Absolutely shattered ??
Straight up...I am SO tired!!! I am taking my vitamins, eating properly, drinking enough, doing my exercise etc, but still feeling beyond tired! Did anyone else get this after losing so much weight? Is this just my permanent state now ?

Tattoo Before Surgery
Just wanted to pop by and say (as a heavily tattooed person) - I am glad you waited! Honestly tattoos that I didn't think would be affected by loose skin have been, and also I can see moreso where I want tattoos to be now that I have lost some weight! I hope all has gone well with you!
