bill, hang in there, I have had my port replaced because it flipped, then about a year later I got a heital hernia, and the doctor had to go in and adjust my band so I have had a lot of issues but I must say i am happy about my weight loss, I have lost 105lbs, still need to loose 40.. But i am at a stand still now..

Well, I know how all of you fell, I went to my doctor and was trying to get filled with no success, I was banded on sept 4th. I have lost 30 lbs but am gaining some of that back. I have been to the doctor several times for a fill and they cannot find it.. So after the fifth time going in and having painfull experience. The doctor has decided to go in and do A PORT REVISION. I guess my port was somehow flipped. So here I am going threw surgery again I had it this last friday and I am still in pain. They went into the same incision. So we well see if they can fill me I will be going to the doctor in 2 weeks.. If this doesn't work I am getting a by-pass. I can't handle any more of this fill no fill situation.

:frown:I just recently went for my second fill, I don't want to scare anyone but it was horrible, the doctor could not find my port, It was tilted and he said I have a lot of scare tissue.. It really hurt. I am going back next week, so he can try again.. Which me luck, I had my band on Sept 4th I have lost 30lbs. Is that good? I feel I should be down more than that..

Hey! help! I had my surgery Sept 4th.. I have been walking, and recently joined a ladies gym doing water arobics, treadmill, bike, I have only lost 17 pounds so far.. I haven't gotten a fill yet oct 13 for me.. I am getting hungry lately.. I have been eating good, and I can't eat very much, So whats up with me.:biggrin:

Ouch!! stitches!! I didn't get stitches, I just had these white tape material over my incisions, They fell off after a couple of days.. Well it sounds like you doing great!! 30 lbs is super!! Kepp up the good work!!!

i would love to be included to attemd support meetings where at?

Hi all, I was Banded on Sept 4th 2008, Good luck to everybody!! I have lost 11 pounds so far..

I had my surgery in Richardson, Texas, But I am doing my fill here in Arizona at True Results, They are great!! I love them... Check em out they have a location in Scottsdale... I live here in Arizona, But went to Texas for the surgery through True results.. Not only did my insurance pay for my procedure, But true results paid for me to go to Texas all expences paid... Give them a try they are awesome..

Hey! Guess your not alone, I did the same thing a couple of weeks agao.. But then I got freaked out because People were telling me that I could damage my band That it could slip if I wasn't careful.. So know I am being good again.. I had surgery on sept 4th.. I have lost 11 pounds so far, But I am hungry all the time too! Hopefully when I see the Doctor on the 22nd of this month, I will get a fill, Or at least get told I can start eating protein and veggies...

I had my lap band done in Richardson texas, Which is about 15 min from Dallas.. True results Dr. Bienvedias he was great!!

I was banded on 9/4/08 And I have to admit I should be on my shakes and jello mushy foods now, And I have cheated with some sugar free cookies, and a pita chip I thought I was having a heart attack the pressure was miserable.. I get very angry at myself when I do that... Then I tell myself to start over.. So tomorrow I am starting over on being good.. Maybe later you can it's still early.. Right?

oh my gosh, don't fell like a failure i do too. I was banded 9/04/08 I am supposed to be on a shake applsause jello diet, And I am already cheating, I am ony hurting myself, I am so miserable too.. You have had some great weight loss.. Start over the people at your doctors will understand they are there to help.. I live in scottsdale,az If you need a buddy just let me know.
