  1. Welcome, I was banded Nov 08 and found this site to be wonderful at teaching me all kinds of stuff! Good luck to you
  2. Thanks for the comment, I had heard that before but thought it was just an excuse. I would sure like to see the scale move more though:bored:
  3. I know that feeling. I was down because the scale has not been moving but today I tried on a pair of pants the next size down and they fit!!
  4. Glad to hear everyone is well!! I am doing ok but a little frustrated. I know we shouldnt compare ourselves but I was banded 11/10 I have had 3 fills, I am up to 6.5 in a 10cc band. I have restriction and I am really not eating too much and I have been working out daily but the scale is not moving. I am down to sizes when it comes to my clothing but yet the scale doesnt move. Any thoughts??
  5. I am glad to hear things went well for you!
  6. I never met Dr. Baptista..........everything actually worked out for me here and I was banded on Nov 10th. I am glad it all went well for you. I am doing great!

  8. I to am a victim of the scale. I dont know whats harder......not snacking or not weighing
  9. Its Mary, Congrats on your banding!!
  10. If PBing means it comes back up then that is not my issue but I have noticed that since my last fill to 6.5cc i burp alot!!!!! I think I still eat to fast.
  11. Im sorry to hear that but if you did it once you can do it again:)
  12. Well they didnt give it to me to "tote" it around. My surgeon gave it to me when I was discharged and told me to bring it to my fierst fill appt. It was in a sealed package that came straight from Allergan.
  13. Emily, I am not going to lie to you but at the hospital they gave me a needle to bring to my first fill appt and it was so long it would scare anyone!!! I dreaded my fill appt although I knew how badly I needed one and when I got there the needle they used was only half the size of the one they gave me at the hospital. I had my 3rd fill yesterday and it is literally a piece of cake. PLEASE do not fear the fill! Good luck to you
  14. Jillians shred DVD is awesome!! My legs hurt so bad the day after I first tried it I knew it would work:)
  15. Congrats to you:) Its the best decision I ever made!
  16. That sounds really cool. It is an investment but if you use it, it is worth it right??
  17. It is not pleasant and down right hurts!!!
  18. How many fills have you had restless??
  19. I have haad 2 fills and my doc said it could take 2 more before I get to restriction.....good luck
  20. Does anyone use the Body Bugg that the contestants wear on the Biggest Loser?? I went online to check them out and they are like $250.00-$300.00. Ouch:w00t:
  21. What do you mean "do I deserve a fill"? We all deserve our fills!!! I sure dont feel bad for needing them
  22. I have found so much desparity between docs that you could get a million different answers to your questions so I think the best thing to do is ask your doc these questions. Good luck. I was banded 11/10 and have had 2 fills, my 10cc band has 5.2 in it and I am ready for more:)
  23. Sounds normal to me. I felt that way for about two weeks post op. It wasnt until week 4 I started feeling any hunger.
  24. I thought it was just me
