  2. Funny you say that about the floating between 2 lbs. I ahve lost 17 lbs since pre-op but have been stuck between the last 2 lbs for 6 days now. Glad I am not alone
  3. I cheated once or twice to and got yelled at here. It happens, no big deal unless you just blatenly blow it. Just move on.
  4. Hey mom2two, If the rice went down and you felt ok then enjoy! It is completely different for everyone.

  6. I was banded 11/10 so far doing good. Minimal gas pain but I do have pain in shoulder. Left side is also sore. I have managed liquids and pudding. Hoping to feel even better tommorrow:tongue2:
  7. Why did you have to switch?
  8. I am scared to....my surgery is Monday the 10th. I have a detailed diet for afterwards but I am getting nervous.
  9. Thank you both, I have looked in the past and havent seen them but I will look again, Typically if it has more than 7 sugars I dont touch it but thanks again.
  10. You to are lucky, I have to do a week of liquids pre op:( I live in Melbourne and almost had to make the trip to Jax to have surgery but then had a turn of events and I am having it here on Monday. Good luck to both of you and take care.
  11. Thats good to know I am not the only one.
  12. I havent found any sugar free yogurts and the ones I do find that are "lower sugar" or "high in fiber" still have more grams of sugar than I can have.
  13. RESTLESS, as I can appreciate your reply I wanted to further explain my thinking. I am NOT making excuses to cheat, quite honestly the toast is just so I can stomach my Diabetic Meds. My docs diet calls for 3 servings of yogurt a day which I cant have due to the sugars so I substitute it with 1 piece of wholewheat toast. I guess I am really not cheating but just tailoring it to my medical needs.
  14. I am glad to hear you all are well!! I am amazed at how gifferent the diets are. I get full liquids on day 2 after surgery. Good thing because after this week of clears I am HUNGRY! My surgery is monday the 10th.
  15. I am sorry to hear that!! Good luck!
  16. Congratulaions!!!! My surgery is the 10th also
  17. Those of you that have been banded ........... let us know how you are!!!!:tt2::frown::tt2:
  18. We are from Florida and for 20 years we never got close to our home state. Enjoy any solid food you can!
  19. There is just too much disparity in the diets...........I know some who dont do any. I think as long as you are smart it will be fine. I find it hard to believe that 2 pieces of toast in 7 days will prevent my surgery.
  20. Dont mean to sound stupid but there are a bunch of threads about constipation and I am having the opposite problem during this pre-op diet. Is that normal?
  21. I started pre-op diet on Monday and I have cheated a few times. Two days I had a piece of toast and one day I made applesauce out of a apple at lunch. I have BMI of 37. I just couldnt stomach any more of my meds with no solid food. I too have lost 9 lbs
  22. Mustang.........how are you loosing weight now pre surgery?? I have lost 9 but it is due to pre-op diet
  23. Yeah go!!! Iam being banded Nov 10 and I am taking a trip to Atlanta Dec 1st.
