  1. Bush was NOT the alternative for a candidate was he?? What do you mean a war we are not winning??? If Obama isnt doing the same thing then you tell me why my daughter just went through her first Mortar attack in Afghanistan?? All that talk about bringing the troops home.hmmmmmmmmmmmmm I cant talk politics as my blood pressure is rising. To all who are in this thread, rep and dem please remember we can disagree about this because of our children, brothers and sisters, moms and dads who are fighting to give us this right:tt1: I wish them all well!

  8. I ahve been banded since 11/08 and my diabetes is better. My doc has been able to take me off 2 of my meds and gaol is to get off all meds. For me it has been a slow process but well worth it even if it is only 1 less pill I have to take. Diet has stayed the same but less food. I have restriction now which is wonderful!!! Meds go down fine except for metformin....I have to crush it and it tastes nasty. Oh well what a price to pay:)
  9. Looks as though your journey has been interupted. Hope all goes well for you

  16. I found mine at Toys R Us. Bought DH the guitar hero so we all enjoy it
  17. I too have had this concern but I think its a little of both. I have had to adjust to things like chewing better, not gulping water and etc...this last fill for me gave me restriction and I dont want to give it back
  18. I feel the same..........it took me 48 minutes to get my cream o wheat in this morning....I am going to deal with it because I love the restriction!
  19. I bought them but never used them, I didnt need anything for gas. Good luck.
  20. I have just had my fourth fill and I am at 7.7 in a 10cc band. Up until this point I had some restrition but could eat almost anything. After this fill I AM restricted. I have to be careful with liquids.....not gulping, and I have noticed I can barely eat throughout the day but tonight I was actually able to eat dinner. I think I am at about 800 to 900 calories a day. Is this ok? I hate the thought of an unfill because I only lost 2 lbs last month.
