  1. It's good to hear from you. I am continuing to send prayers your way for you and your family. I pray that the surgery goes well, and that it isn't cancer.
  2. :frown::blink:That had to be a joke. That couldn't have been a real person... Could it?:w00t:
  3. Yes, please post a link. Inquiring minds would like to know. Hi everyone! I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend.
  4. I think we should all look at ourselves as successes. I cannot fathom how much weight I would have gained had I not gotten my band. I haven't lost as much weight as I would have liked, but I am still so proud of myself. I think we have all accomplished so much. We still have the potential for even more greatness!
  5. Ebony-(((((hugs))))) I have no words of wisdom. I think the other ladies have hit on some very good points. We will be there for you no matter what you decide.
  6. Ebony-If wearing the older shoes make your legs hurt, you should get rid of them. I have had to do that before. What type of running shoes did you get?
  7. Good evening folks! How is everyone doing? Heartfire-I love the fire truck in your avi. How cute? I completely understand where you are coming from with asking first. I cannot fathom just giving someone else's child anything without talking to the parents. You just never know what you are dealing with (allergies, parents ready to beat you up...). My family was really bad when DS was little. They would give him all manner of things when I wasn't around. One day I came in to him sucking on a chicken leg bone. He wasn't even one! One of my older aunts decided it would be good for him since he was teething. Of course, it did help in some ways because DS is fearless when it comes to food (unless it has cheese on it). He eats everything! He actually has gotten his dad to be a little more open to foods because his dad figures if DS eats it, it must be ok. It is too funny. KC-glad to know your mouth is doing better. I went and read the last fight between HH and the other person. He was baited into that one. She for sure knew which of his buttons to push. Beth-Sorry to hear about DH being in more pain than expected. Hopefully that will clear up as he heals. The situation with the book is awful! Why do people have to try to get over on other people? I hope that you are able to get your money back quickly. I haven't really had to deal with the dog situation. Well, other than the two days that I had a puppy here for DS. It did get a tummy upset and puked on my kitchen floor. Of course, the woman that is scared of dogs got to clean it up. **gross**
  8. I hope she enjoys the books. Mine too! Nope. Luluc is so smart. I wondered the same thing! It must have been because that account is now suspended.
  9. Morning all. Heartfire-I am glad that you will get to take your trip. I completely understand where you are coming from on that one. I hope that you have an awesome trip! (don't pack the scale) TPG-I am really sorry about your surgery, but I am sure this is a blessing is disguise. re scale:I am totally addicted to my scale. I weigh every morning and almost every time I go into my bathroom after that. Beth-how is DH doing today? KC-How are you feeling? Lu-what are you cooking up today? Ebony-How is the neck? Krtork-that sounds like my worst nightmare. Dealing with emotional teenaged girls? Scary. Plain-you crack me up. You scare me, but you really crack me up. re the pouch test-I have done it a couple of times. I like it ok, but I can never seem to make it past day two. I have not completely absorbed how to NOT give in to my carb cravings, so I never get over them completely.
  10. Ok, stop teasing. Give us the entire story behind this. By the way, you look awesome in your avi.
  11. PJTP-I finally have a NSV! I bought (and fit into) size 14 pants! They are khaki Dickie pants. They are a little snug on the thighs, but I have room in the waist! Holy crap!
  12. I would still say that it is probably water weight or something similar. Our weight fluctuates quite a bit just based on what we have or haven't taken in. I understand your frustrations, but remember how far you have come. You have done an awesome job on your weight loss. You also know that we don't mind you venting. We are here for each other.
  13. Beth-thinking of you and DH today while he has surgery.KC-how is the mouth? I think you mentioned you were having the other side done today? I hope all is well.Ebony-how is the neck?TPG-how is the blood sugar?
  14. I am so there. I have been 182 for the past month. I don't think I can handle a fill because at TOM I have trouble eating. I would love to drop below 180 sometime soon!
  15. So after a really long post, I forgot something... Happy Bandiversary Hearfire! Good morning everyone! I miss you Tap.
  16. I'm glad you survived. Crystal Light is now my beverage of choice. I drink quite a bit of it daily. I thought your pictures looked great! I vote it was the scale. Did you have it on a completely flat surface (no tile)? I know if my scale is on the edge of the tile, it says I weigh a different amount. :w00t:
  17. I was amazed at how not hungry I was. I was evil, but not hungry. I ended up apologizing to everyone in my family that had the misfortune of talking to me during those 10 days.
  18. Well crap! Now you tell me.
  19. That is awesome! To find no problems and you lost weight?!?!?! You are Superwoman! About time! I am so glad to see you! I am sorry to hear about your DH (surgery and possible job) and your dad. Sending positive thoughts your way. We should just start the fan club now! You mean vacations aren't for eating like a slobbering pig? I hope you are able to get the blood sugar drops in check. I know that is an awful feeling. After the first day or so of the liquid diet, I wasn't hungry either. I remember calling and asking if I had to drink all that was on my list. I want to be FBed by Beth... If anyone can do it, it will be you.:wink2: I don't know yet. I haven't gotten my ring either. That stuff is hard.
  20. Ebony-I am so sorry that you are in pain. I hope that eases soon. I also hope that you hear back soon (with positive news) about the job! Keeping you in my thoughts.
  21. I actually have a coworker that has been calling me about diets. We aren't friends. She is a talker so I don't want to share with her that I have had surgery. She would tell everyone and their mom. I have told her what I am eating since she has called me twice about my "diet". I told her that I am not on a diet. I told her that I made a lifestyle change (which is true).
  22. PJTP-I hate FB already. There is no going back to edit a post so if you made a mistake, its just there for the world to read you sounding like an a$$. I don't think I can get the hang of that.
  23. PJTP-It is Monday morning. I am extremely sleepy. I was up several hours later than I would have been (I was afraid to go to sleep for fear I would get called in to work). My alarm clock actually scared me (I am usually up before it goes off). I am sipping coffee in hopes of it waking me up by the time I get to work. I hope that everyone had a great weekend. I also hope that everyone has a great day today!
  24. I sent a friend request to you on FB. We can learn together. I hope that you are able to get the low blood sugar in check. Can you drink apple juice on your clears? Maybe a couple of sips of that can raise your blood sugar enough to keep you from feeling bad. I hope you feel better soon! I have a problem with the slime from okra too. I have some in my fridge from someone's garden that I just don't want to deal with. Thanks for accepting my friend request Fanny!
  25. I am glad that everything went well Kat. That is a lot of people. That sounds like my family get togethers.
