  1. I haven't lost much weight, but this is already happening to me! ***sobbing hysterically along with my husband***
  2. Thanks Southern Missy. I just downloaded a version of that to my MP3 player yesterday. I am going to try it. There seem to be a lot of people that swear by it. I will keep you posted on how I do.
  3. Holy cow! How awesome! Hysterical laughter or the men with white coats...:rolleyes2: That is your "fat girl" brain talking. You have to start thinking with your "athletic girl" brain.
  4. I understand. When I got to work yesterday, I didn't have any work. That was tough. I can only hope that today is better. If not, I am taking my MP3 that has the couch to 5k to work with me.
  5. I think so too. I miss BBK being the lady at the top.
  6. ROFL:lol: I think that they are possibly the people from the commercials for Lap Band. I just went to lapband.com and they have the same pictures for the success stories. Heck, my doctor has the same pictures on his website.
  7. After an unpleasant episode with rice this evening, I will only say take it slow. It took too large of a bite without thinking. I swallowed and knew instantly that it was a mistake. I have eaten rice since banding with no problems as long as I remember to take it slow.
  8. This has been my week for typos. It is someone else's turn.:smile2:
  9. Just stay positive and follow your doctor's orders. Good luck!
  10. PJTP- Why can you eat something today, but tomorrow it makes you gag? I just don't get it.
  11. PJTP-I am so glad that I am able to access lapbandtalk from work. ***sigh***
  12. I think you and I are in the same boat. We have been eating until full for so long that we don't know what just being satisfied is supposed to feel like. I struggle with this because I know that I still eat too fast. I am trying to work on slowing down so that I will get that satisfied feeling. It is really a learning curve. I hope that we get that "sweet spot" that everyone talks about soon. Keep plugging away, I think we will get it before it is over.
  13. Holy cow! No wonder you were laughing so hard!
  14. Hey, I think we all went through this after surgery. We all really wanted a miracle the day after surgery, but it is going to take time. You have no restriction right so you are going to be able to eat more as your swelling from surgery goes down. I have had a fill and still can eat more if I wanted to. I am trying really hard to stay on plan though. That is really all that we can do until we get good restriction. Don't get discouraged. Our time will come soon.
  15. PSJP Happy Wednesday everyone! So Fanny, what does fanny mean where you are?
  16. I love the new look Alex!
  17. I just downloaded week one. I am going to start this! Thanks for giving the link.
  18. You are a bad, bad woman. I put in that #$! comma.
  19. I guess i should have read that before i posted. I meant to say enjoy your love fanny. hahahaha
  20. Amen! Isn't love grand? Enjoy your new love, Fanny.
  21. Thanks Michee. I have to admit that is one of my goals.
  22. I wish today were over. We still have a LONG way to go before its over. Congrats LMD! 1000 posts! Also, I love the new avatar pic!
  23. Drive by post to say hello everyone!
  24. I had a couple of sessions with a trainer to give me an idea of where to start and how to use the machines at the gym. Instead of doing a class, we did more cardio and then weight training. I am sure I am going to feel this workout. We did more today than we did last week. I am going to keep going though. It felt good just to say I survived.
