  1. You take care of yourself. You won't be any good to your mom if you are ill. Get the unfill. Maybe if you talk to you doctor's office about not wanting it all taken out, they won't do it. If you aren't vomiting, I would think it shouldn't be a big deal to leave most of your fill in place. My good friend is a nurse. I know what a blessing they can be. You take care.
  2. It could be combination of the fill and the stress. Some fills take as much as two weeks (per my doctor's office) to kick in. With the added stress of your mom's injury, you could be just a tad too tight for your stress level. You might try some type of OTC medicine for the reflux until things calm down, or you might get a slight unfill. I wish you the best, and a speedy recovery for your mom.
  3. I am glad that you were able to get back on track! I am going for a much needed fill on tomorrow. I hope to be right there with you on the losing track.
  4. Many prayers CC! Congrats G4E! I hope you had a great 1st day! Tap-take care of yourself. I know not being able to get anything down is nothing to play with (not that I know from personal experience thank goodness).
  5. You too G4E. If your Costco doesn't have it, I have seen it at Walmart in their yogurt section.
  6. Good idea! She has been mooching off of us since she moved around the corner. You can't tell me that wasn't her plan when she moved. She didn't call at before she moved, now her number is on the caller id every freaking day! It is sickening!
  7. She has some major cajones!
  8. Yay about the job! That is great! Ok, it is 8:30 and MIL has already called asking for cigs! DH seemed to think I would find it funny that she has been calling for 3 days. I told him that as the bill payer in this house, I don't find it funny and that she needs to quit smoking if she can't afford to buy them. He is now upset with me. I don't care today. That is not the kind of crap that you want to wake up to!
  9. Maybe seeing you is what made him start thinking about adding both? I can't see him having you come in just for giggles and grins, so let's stay positve!
  10. Hi BBK! Ebony & Beth, I am thinking of you both! Hi Heartfire, Fanny, G4E, and Mac! Luluc-I hope that you are having a wonderful time on your trip!
  11. :tt1: I hope you get over those migrains soon. I haven't evern experienced one, but I worked with a lady that had them badly. She passed out during a training class from the pain.
  12. Beth and Ebony-praying, chanting, ancient nekkid rain dancing, etc... for both of you in your interviews. I would suggest you not imagine me doing the nekkid dance for fear you out right laugh during the interview. Much success to you both!
  13. Doing the happy dance for you! I have it on the desktop computer in the kitchen and on my iPhone! It is awful!
  14. I will have to check these out. I have rigged my straps with other things to keep them from falling off my shoulder all of the time. Thanks for the info!
  15. Have a safe trip, Tap! We will miss you!
  16. I agree with you Beth. I know that I have been taking a hard look to determine what is really needed as opposed to what we just wanted. Taking the time to appreciate our lives and not just the "stuff" that is in them.
  17. Hey Susan, I meant to say that I am glad that things are working better for you and your DH. I know having to move out of your home isn't the best, but it would be a clean start.
  18. Tap-you are wonder woman! I don't know how you do it all!
  19. heartfire-I hope things turn around for your DH's pay. I know all about the childcare situation. The amounts most daycare centers charge are dreadful.
  20. Ebony, Beth, G4E-I am doing the happy dance! Thankfully, you can't see it. It ain't pretty. I am sending prayers, good vibes, good thoughts, etc your way! luluc-drink a 'rita for me!
  21. Ebony-I am so sorry that they are doing this to you. I can say this, from what I gather from your posts, you are MORE than capable of ,not only meeting the challenges of this job, you can and (I am sure) will surpass them. You can rise above that b*tchy boss that is obviously trying to push you out the door. Don't let her win this one.
  22. Although I didn't get anything from my doctor's office, I went to the lapband website and got the info for getting a card. I called the 800 number (which someone else above has listed) and gave them my info. I now have the card in my wallet. I haven't tried to use it to order off of the kids menu. I have only gone out to eat a few times, but with people that don't know about my band. I don't really want them (or the strangers working wherever I am eating) to know about my band. What I couldn't eat, I gave to my 12 year old. He is eating like a horse anyway, so my added portion saves me from having to order extra for him.
  23. Happy Friday to you too Susan! Tap-that conference sounds like a winner. Those are going to be some really long days.
