  1. How did you get this picture of me?!?!?!?:laugh:
  2. So much loss is so hard to deal with. I will be keeping you and yours in my thoughts.
  3. That's ok, they would have been too big soon anyway!
  4. Ok, you all have been busy so... I have two pair of those shoes! I have an all black pair that I wear everyday to work and an all white pair that I haven't worn yet. I love them! You are smokin' hot woman! I will not look like that even in my dreams! Me too Tap! Is there more wine? I didn't get my glass! :lol: Me too! Surprise me! :laugh: What she said! I have tracking my walking at work. On a slow day I am doing about 3.5 miles in my shape-ups. Wouldn't that be great!:smile2: Beth, I know that you will do great in school. You have greater things ahead so going to school will help you to prepare.
  5. We should try that. What she said! Morning! You are welcome to join us!
  6. Morning. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day. If today is anything like yesterday, there will be no catching up. TTFN!
  7. You don't have to duck from me.:tt2: I wish DH and DS didn't like sports as much as they do. DH is almost fanatical with football. He must watch all games. He cannot be disturbed with anything during this time. Don't let him be playing online football. You would not believe some of the words DH uses when you accidently (on purpose:rolleyes:) start talking to him right in the middle of an important play and he misses. I know, I am mean, but it's just a game.:huh2:
  8. What did I win???
  9. :juggle::lol: I am sorry you missed the deadline, but I love your substitute curse!
  10. Those are great ideas. I haven't had polenta with parm. That sounds really tasty. I am currently slurping on melon "soup". I feel a shopping trip in my near future. :0) I really envy how you and your DH are there for your friends and vice versa. I know that your friend's DH is going through an awful time, but I also know that having you there to be a shoulder to lean on, or just to put a smile on his face, helps them so much.
  11. Obviously I didn't give enough thought to the dynamics of being banded with braces. I am sure that the stress over not having solid food is making it worse. I apologize for complaining.
  12. PJTP-have you ever slimed so much that you actually wanted to PB? As a banded person, not chewing is not an option. As a banded person with braces, how the hell am I supposed to eat!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?
  13. :juggle::lol::lol:
  14. Football...yuck! I have to hear about "our boys" all year long. DH acts as though he has stock options in the Titans. You would swear that he wore one of those wireless head sets that goes directly to the coaches ear. Of course, the volume must be way down on it because he yells like he is trying to get someone in Egypt to hear him. Can you tell I am NOT looking forward to football season?
  15. Evening everyone! Way too much has been said for me to recap. I have been on to try to catch up a couple of times today and end up behind by the time I get to what I think is the last post.
  16. vacation....That sounds wonderful right now.
  17. For my doctor, it was about the calories and breaking the carb addiction while on the healing liquid phase of the diet. You don't want the crashes that you would get from having too much sugar. That way, by the time you are allowed to eat without fear of breaking the sutures that are holding the band in place, you are no longer craving the carbs from sugar. Talk to your doctor about your migraines. Your doctor may allow you to have the regular sugar items on occasion. Good luck to you!
  18. I normally have had my first cup before I log in, but today I woke up before it started brewing. I am now drinking that very delicious first cup. I wish I could go back to bed and that I had a good book on hand. I only have a couple of self help books that I keep trying to read. Unfortunately, the doctors that wrote them must have been writing for other doctors. They are the most boring drivel I have ever read!
  19. There may be a smily, but I like your originality much better(big words for before my coffee:wink2:).
  20. Morning. I see that I am not the only one awake so early this morning. (waving hello to tapshoes)
  21. :lol::lol:OMG! I wanted to ask that!
  22. Then we have to hit a BIG bank. I have a lot of work that needs to be done!:thumbup:
