  6. I totally understand this I mean the way I eat is abysmal but I'm not gaining I'm maintaining. If I tried harder I'm sure I could lose a little bit more weight but I think I'm about done. Right now I am at 195 however the doctor said take off 25 lb for skin and his goal wait for me is 145. So if you look at it that way. I only have about 15 or 20 pounds to lose.

  9. Does anyone here do the keto diet and if so what are some good easy recipes?
  10. Has anyone gained weight post op duodenal switch? I hear it's near impossible and you have to try very hard to gain weight after surgery.
  11. What are you guys do about night time snacking? This is where I struggle with old habits
  12. I ask because my surgeon wants to do five separate surgeries two on my stomach one on my legs one on my arms and one of my breasts
  13. We're they separate surgeries or all at once?
  14. I was on liquids for five weeks and I can say I felt starving. But alot of it was that head hunger and just wanting to actually eat real food again.
  15. I'm also almost two years post op. So I'm beginning to maintain instead of taper off. I do eat alot of fat. I get the streatorrhea and so I know I am actually consuming too much fat but I usually consume about 100g protein a day. I don't track calories as much as carbs and protein.

  17. I can't take narcotics so for me it's about finding. A pain Man plan for post op.
  18. I'm hoping to have this surgery for sure. I need it. The drs look at me all the time and say "wow I can tell you've lost alot of weight. There's so much skin"
  19. I love that you did it together. We did it together too.
