I am applying lotion all the time. It is awful. The worst is my back where i can't reach to put lotion. It itches something terrible.

I am 25 days PO and am currently afraid it isn't going to work. I dropped 20 lbs in the first 10 days and haven't lost a pound since. I am measuring and tracking everything, following my program and getting my fluids. I am hoping things start moving soon.

If you like shrimp....even a little....you need to try this, cause these are SO FREAKING GOOD!
You get some raw shrimp, clean it, just the meat. BLOT IT WELL....squeeze, even, to REMOVE MOISTURE.
Half of it, you cut up into chunks.
Half of it, you either mince with a knife or put through a food processor.
You mix both halves together with an egg white and a little corn starch.
Refrigerate for a half an hour, and then form the mixture into patties on waxed paper.
    Then, you have two options...
You can either bread it with eggwash and panko, or you can leave it plain. Or, you can split the difference and just sprinkle a little panko on it and not fully bread it.
Season it well....I love Old Bay for this.
Then you fry it. A couple of minutes on each side. You can air fry it, too! Spritz with oil and off you go.
You eat this thing with some lettuce, wassabi, and some tartar sauce.
You can put it in a wrap, or a whole grain bun, or just plain....but make sure you have lettuce, wassabi and tartar sauce.
TONS of protien, low calories, and incredibly tasty.
My husband...who isn't a huge shrimp fan...will eat these like hamburgers and loves them.
Also, you can put the raw patties in the freezer and get them out as needed:)

mweiss1998 got a reaction from OutdoorsGirl in Keeping surgery a secret? What did you tell others?
I didn't even tell my husband until about 3 weeks before surgery. I had told 1 friend because she has also been considering it and she was the only one who knew up until I got my surgery date. Then I told my husband, my boss and 1 person at work who had the surgery last year. My kids found out about a week before and my in-laws 2 days before. I still haven't told my parents and I am 2 weeks PO. Once my weight loss is obvious, if people ask, I will tell them. I am not ashamed of it. I just didn't want to jinx anything. I literally wasn't approved until 60 hours before I had to be at the hospital for the surgery.

I've read all about it I just didn't think it would last this long. I go for my 1 month check up on Wednesday and I am going to weight the same as I did on my 10 day. Just disappointing.

We delayed my daughter's birthday dinner until Monday so I will at least be on soft foods. I told her to pick someplace with salmon on the menu for me. I felt it would just be too hard during puree. But as everyone said, get the Soup. Either the clear miso or our local hibachi has a spicy egg drop soup. Egg drop soup was listed on my pureed menu specifically.

mweiss1998 got a reaction from WalkingBlessing21 in Hiatus Hernia - Did removal help prevent acid reflux with sleeve surgery?
I had a hiatal hernia fixed during my sleeve surgery. I didn't have GERD before and I also do not now. But I am only 3 weeks out.

I am with you. I am currently a 42/44 B. I have nursed 3 children for 15 months each and they were already deflated and dangling. Not sure what will be left after I've lost this weight. I'll be back to my 34/36 A from high school and college but droopy. Good thing my hubby is an "ass man".

I measure everything too, but since I used this dinnerware, I don't have to get my scale out all the time because the measurements are on the actual plates/bowls. https://livligahome.com/shop-all/bariatric/ I also love the small fork/spoons they have which are the biggest help.

I finally got the call around 3:10 pm today that my insurance has approved my surgery and I am going in on Monday. I have to be there at 5:30 am. I am excited and terrified at the same time. My hubby is just dropping me off since there is a no visitor policy in place. No point in missing a days work.

I was also done Feb 1st. I felt regret days 1 - 2 but I am feeling much better now. Does your team have you drinking any sugar? I am hypoglycemic and some days I wake up feeling awful because my sugar is so low. My team said for the first 2 week while I am on Clear Liquids only I can have full sugar gatorade or Powerade, cranberry juice or apple juice. I had to do half drink and half juice. the days I feel really bad I will have 8 oz cranberry juice with 8 oz Water. I also got Protien20 water to get some Protein in while on clear liquids. I hope you start feeling better soon. It will all be worth it in the end.
