  11. You're right! I most likely wouldn't have lost the weight if I hadn't had surgery. Now that the weather is getting nicer I am going to start on afternoon walks. I wanted to join the gym close to my house but I hate contracts and you have to sign a 12 month one. May sound like an excuse but for someone who lives paycheck to paycheck it's a legit concern haha.

  13. Tomorrow I will be 12 weeks post op gastric sleeve and I've only lost 40 lbs. I don't eat what I'm not supposed to, so I don't understand why I'm not loosing as fast. My appointment with Dr. is in April, and at the 2 week appointment he said I should be around 60lb loss by April. I will admit that exercising is my biggest struggle. I feel so frustrated [emoji24]
  14. My doctor repaired a hiatial hernia while doing my sleeve. I didn't even know I had one! But I will say, I have not had heartburn once since surgery
  15. Thank you I appreciate it! I have to remind myself everyone is different and losses different.
  16. Thank you! My pre op was 2 week liquid diet and I lost 14lbs. I'm trying something different this coming week so well see how it goes.
  17. I had sleeve surgery 12/29 so I am about 7 weeks post op. I have lost 30lbs since surgery date. I feel like I should be losing more, even the dietitian agreed. But so far I've been able to tolerate foods, I've never had dumping, I do need to get more protein and water in, but I feel good.
  18. Don't knock the cauliflower crust until you try it. I am also very picky and was hesitant in trying it. I tried getting the frozen cheese cauliflower crust pizza from Walmart and shredded up some turkey deli meat and added a little more cheese. I was only able to eat about half a piece 4 weeks post op but it was good!

  20. Hello! I'm curious seeing as how super bowl is coming up, how many have tried eating hot queso at 6 weeks? What about wings with no skin?? What was everyone eating at 6 weeks post op?

  23. How is everyone doing?? I am 5 weeks post op today!
  24. So my program said that I could drink the Isopure waters but my fluid intake and wouldn't count towards my protein goal. It seems that my program has alot of those kind of rules. For example I can only drink Whey Isolate protein shakes. I'm not able to eat anything spicy until 3 months to avoid ulcers. Just different things. I am really trying to heed their advice, but it is somewhat difficult in this learning phase. I am 5 weeks post op today. 1 more week t regular diet! Wooooo

  26. Thank you all for your responses, I'm glad I have this information going forward. I just bought my multivitamin yesterday in a chewable, mainly because I have a hard time swallowing pills and even the chewable was HUGE. I also got the chewable probiotic. Still need to get the calcium chews. Now I'm really going to try the Nectar shakes, SO over the milky ones.
