got banded on 10-12-06 have to say it was easier that i thought. My little sister (who was banded in feb) went with me ,i was so scared i really thought i was not gonna make it out the ER for some reason. but here im at all in one piece and ready to go back to work on monday. I don't how much i've lost i have not weighted my self yet, i have my post op appt. on friday so ill wait until then. Im soooooooo happy i finally got this done...:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

I just went for my pre-op testing today. My surgery is scheduled for next thurs. 10-12-06 I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im scared though.

on the day of my surgery............what the heck do i do. Do they cancel it if you get your period on this day? has this happened to anyone before.?

what do they do at pre admissiong testing?and about how long did it takes yor pat's?

I just went my dentist today because my face is swollen, so she takes an x-ray and she then tells me that i have a tooth absces (if im spelling it right:rolleyes )i have an inffection. And my surgery is scheduled for 10-12-06, i told her about my surgery and she said they wont do surgery if have an infection.OMG im fricking out, she said to take penicillin and to call her on monday and let her know if my swelling went down or not.. if not she will have to drain my tooth...:think im stressed out. has this ever happened to any of you guys?

OMG, this is the same pain i'm getting and i also tought it was my gallbladder, does it hurt when lifting your left leg too?

:help: Im having surgery on 10-12-06 which is a thurs. my thing is im a little scared i didn't tell work i having the band put on because everytime a patient makes an appt. for clearance they say something negative about the procedure ( i work at a cardiologist) they say that's the easy way out. But any way i took thurs and friday off and im returnign to work on that following monday, im scared now, i didn't think about too much when i took those days off, but now im thinking is that to soon to go back to work or am i gonna be ok. I just want to see what you guys think. thank you.

:clap2: MY insurance approved me yesterday -and i got a date for 10-09-06 9 days after my birthday-im happy but very nevous-- im such punk, yey lol. They approved me in two days.. My Dr. summitted all my paper work about two week ago.. And Still no answer.. My question is how long did it take you for your insurance to let you know if you were approved or denied?:angry

If You has WLS because of the insurance company sending them any paperwork... im planning to have it done but no one in the office knows. And i just thought of that. Can some one answer me pls Thank u guys!

for the ultrasound of of my pelvis & abdomen & they found a gallstone ( small).Has anyone have the same problem & what did they do? did they revove it before surgery or what happended please help me???

are hypothyrodism & acid reflux co- morbits that the insurance take in consideration when approving the surgery? my BMI is only 42 and im scared that the won't approve me~! :help:

HELLO Everyone... I have a little dilema, My BMI is 42 with no co-morbities, i want to know if anyone had a problem being covered bu bc cb on Nj with such "low" BMI. thank you all. im just scared that my surgery wont be approved

my bmi is 39 i dont know if they will pay for it, has anyone had a similar experience?
