I am not friends with anyone on this board. I dont know you all and really have no desire to. I came here for support during a transition in my life. I just have a couple of things I would like to say.

People who hide behind the Lord to chastise other people or use the Lord to make others feel guilty should be ashamed of themselves. HOW DARE YOU drag the Almighty God into this kind of bickering. Do you keep God on the same level as yourselves?? Keep Him on a leash and turn Him loose whenever it makes you look good?? I can't stand when pious people throw this "I will pray for you crap" around to make them seem holier than thou.. Just as bad are the people who use your christianity to slap you in the face. "I thought you were a Christian"... As if that is something they just came up with and haven't used that line time and time again to attack people. Christians are sinners, people. Jesus is the attonement for our sins. Paul, David and Moses were all murderers for God's sake and the Lord used each of these men in mighty ways. They each wrote major portions of the Bible. God created us to worship Him not to use Him for our own foolish gain. Come ONNNN!!!!! Enough if enough. Dont you all have friends in "real life"?? If your so unhappy online then step away from the keyboard... Shut the dang thing off... move on with your lives.. find another message board where everyone is perfect.. Or do SOMETHING!!!! But leave God out of your petty, childish bickering. If your not a Christian then be a decent human being and leave Him out anyway... He is very important to some people.

god ???????? what a load of crap no such person or thing even exsists. we all make our own lives our own mistakes our own luck, life is what each individual makes it. we make our our destiny. so NO praying dont work as there aint such a person as god. god didnt make me have a lap band,i did it as my own choice as a human being, not some figment of my imagination. all this crap like i got a band because it was gods choice 4 me 2 have it, thats rubbish !!!!!! this god thing is all brainwashing. we all have our own minds. im going now as this subject is annoying me. bye :phanvan

Ok maybe I missed something, and I don't know where this came from but...

I think Kathy's point is that she feels like some people act as if they are better than others, or use God to hold themselves higher. I don't really think God is her issue.

Kathy--I am sorry that you are having trouble. I understand that you came to this board for support that you probly can not get in your outside life. One thing to remember is you are coming into contact with a huge number of people, and even though it seems like many we are all not the same.

Just as it's not fair for anyone to be chastized, it is not fair to judge many by the actions of a few!

Kathy I'm sorry you are not getting the support you are looking for. I am sure there is some information already on the board that could help you. Use the search key. It sits on the line at the top of your screen that starts with User CP.

I think that some of you are missing the background on this...

there was a terrible slew of threads yesterday with alot of name calling and really childish behavior. I think alot of people that normally dont pay much attention to it...got upset...I believe that this is a spillover from it.

GreatDame is right. And as always, the best way to stop these dustups is to completely ignore them.

You know at first I Kindoff laughed at kathy's first post, thinking she had had a bad day. but ohh now I am offended!!!!!!! All of you that don't want to hear about GOd , GET over it... That is a very big part of my life and If I want to talk about it I will. If you don't like it DONT READ IT! unfortunately you are correct. GOD IS PUT EVERYWHERE!
