are hypothyrodism & acid reflux co- morbits that the insurance take in consideration when approving the surgery? my BMI is only 42 and im scared that the won't approve me~! :help:

Most insurance companies dont require co-morbids for people whose BMI is over 40.. only if it is below 40. So I think you are safe.

Same here...my insurance didn't require co-morbidities aver 40BMI. Good luck. Oh, and the two you listed were not qualifications for under 40BMI on my insurance. If you are 42, you should be safe.
