  4. No for me i met with the surgeon first so we could ask each other questions. Mortality rate of your surgeons surgeries should be high up on your list! There are many places doing the shrgery so feel free to shop around if problems also if they are this rigid now how rigid will they be when there are problems down the road good luck!

  8. Around may 11 was my first appointment with the surgeon then on aug 10 the bariatric nurse scheduled me for august 28 surgery date. Insurance approved preauth july 31 before i even completed egd, sleep study, etc lol. Mine may be pushed back due to covid so i am in both august and sept threads.

  10. I heard biotin was good for hair. However when i was doing my preop labs they had a sign up saying biotin may affect your lab results so if i were you i would hold off on adding anything presurgery unless told to or it could cause delays in an already long and complicated process
  11. Hi, how bout see your primary physician could be a number of things. I would probably start with a urine test for uti. Could be kidney pain. Might need an antibiotic
  12. I have surgery in the morning on friday. The surgeon told me at the preop appointment I will be released sunday (barring complications)
  13. High blood pressure (diagnosis of hypertension), Sleep apnea , gerd (for bypass) but for my insurance at that low of bmi requires two comorbity
  14. Hi guys! I am doing the rny the 28th of august and I was wondering what containers you guys are using for meal prep in small ounces. I have some of the disposable ones already (1 oz, 2 oz) and am looking for microwavable (preferably not glass because i travel and they break etc) now thanks in advance for any replies

  16. Hm i dont agree with this i have seen several successful vlogs on youtube who do have slip ups. To err is human and being perfectionist is not really reasonable. I think everyone does their best. This person made a good first step by talking about it

  21. How are you doing? Please check with surgeoun. I did read though that depending on procedure when sliced some nerve endings are left open and that could be part of it but thats the tummy
  22. I think this is too one sized fits all. People that have fatty liver may need to avoid fat and carbs. Diabetics as well may need to add extra or take some away. Best is to go with what works for your bodys own comorbities and anyone can read scientific sources to find out best diet for it however most nutritionist at bariatric programs know all this info and its a good idea to lean on others who have mastered the topic in degree for some advice.
