I have not personally. I'm about 6 weeks out and still have no desire to eat anything.

FOAMIES!
I'm 6 weeks out. Have had that happen twice. Think it was just a combination of too much too fast since in those 2 instances I've had that stuff before and was fine

Pain on right side of stomach
I had the same thing. It hurt for 3 weeks and then during the 4th week I think I did too much bending and it hurt like hell for another week and a half. I'm almost 6 weeks out and i no longer have any pain in my right side.

I didnt mean it as a bad thing. If anything I'm probably taking in too few calories. I get most my protein from my shakes and have very little desire to eat.

I get a little nausea in the morning when I first drink something but never lightheaded. I'm almost at 6 weeks too. Wow 900 calories seems like alot. I barely eat anything. Maybe like 4-500 calories. I can tolerate most foods too but I'm never hungry and just seems like a hassle to eat.

Anyone dealing with heartburn? I was on the acid reducer rx for 30 days after surgery. I finished the rx 3 days ago and then a day later I have this burning in my chest. It's not too bad just annoying at this point. I've never had heartburn so not sure if this is it

February 2020 Post-Op Thread
It's been a tough couple days. My wife was pregnant and we lost the baby a few days ago. Normally I would eat to cope but since I cant do that I'm having a tough time. She had to have emergency surgery because of it and I've had to pick up the slack with our son. Guess I overdid it and am now having sharp pains under my right side incision.

Still having pain in my right side
I'm left handed so there goes your theory. They said that incision on the right is where they pull the stomach out of.

Still having pain in my right side
It's just a pain right behind the large incision on the right. The first 2 weeks it felt like it was pulling like a stitch or suture. It got better the third week. I think I bent over too much the last few days and now the pain is sharp when I bend a little or twist too fast.

Still having pain in my right side
I am a little over 3 weeks out of surgery. The pain on my right side behind the large incision was pretty rough. The third week it started to get a little better. My wife had to have emergency surgery a couple days ago and I've had to pick up the slack with our son. Not sure if I did too much bending but the pain is much worse now than in the beginning. Is it just muscle pain?

What age was yours?
The sooner you do it, the sooner you can live your life. My sister had rny when she was 22, an ex gf had a sleeve at 28. I just did the sleeve at 34. We are all doing fine.

I'm three weeks out today. So I'm officially cleared to eat almost everything I can tolerate. Not eating very much though. Today I had a string cheese, 2oz. Of refried beans, 2 oz of egg salad and for the first time had some canned corned beef hash. It was good but pretty calorie dense. Haven't been hungry and I'm ok with that.

Am I the only one who's not weighing themselves? We are eating and drinking very little, it's almost impossible not to lose weight. I have enough worries in my life, not going to let the scale be another one. I'll give it 3 months until I check. I even went to my appointments and told them I dont want to hear the numbers.

Hiccups
Any ideas on how to make hiccups stop? Im 2 and a half weeks post op. I had hiccups for 40 mins this afternoon in the middle of eating some ricotta cheese. Finally got them to go away. A few hours later and they are back again. Didnt drink or eat anything for an hour prior. I'm occupying as I type.

Positive for H. Pylori ? - share your experience
I had h pylori during testing. I had 2 meds that I took for 10 days. Didnt seem like a big deal to anyone. I didnt feel rotten but experienced months of dirrarhea after though. I'm assuming the bacteria is gone but they never retested for it.
