After being canceled three times I am now scheduled for July 7. This has been longer than it should have taken (71/2 Months) but hopefully it happens this time now that we are open for elective surgery. I don’t think that I fully believe that it will happen. I think that after my final visit with surgeon at the end of June then maybe I’ll believe because I start 2 week diet the day before I see him. Congratulations to everyone who got new dates.

My advice for you and whatever it’s worth is Don’t ever let anyone make you feel like less then you are. You take care of you and F.ck everyone else and there hurtful remarks because at the end of the day we have to at least appreciate ourselves and love ourselves for who we are at any moment. No one else’s opinion matters. Not even the ones we love because sometimes they can say or do things that hurt and don’t even realize they are doing it. Stand strong! Especially when it’s hard! We are hear to listen and I won’t judge. ESPECIALLY here ya know we are all in the same boats. People that live in Glass houses should not throw stones. Chin up you got this!

So I haven’t gotten a date yet, but I do believe I’ll have one soon for July! I started w/ a new doctor this month (I’ve been through all steps necessary, with another doctor so my current surgeon isn’t requiring me to do anything else.). Luckily for me, my insurance doesn’t have any requirements for diet visits. Anyway, hoping to hear something soon. I speak to the doctors Monday & they mentioned after this appointment I will be submitted to insurance. Hoping it all works out! My 30th bday is in September & I’m ready to feel good!

My office submitted the papers for approval May 22nd. They told me the doctor already gave them a surgery date which is July 20th! So lets hope I'm approved!

So I was 25lbs away from my goal a year ago. Just 25lbs. If I wasn't hit with catastrophe after catastrophe, I'd be at my goal now. But those things happened. And it's going to be very public. It's going to be on Netflix and everyone will see my body. All the puckered and loose skin. All the fat rolls. All my tears and trauma. All the confidence I faked so nobody could break me down. But it was supposed to be okay because the plastic surgery was going to fix it. Make my new life possible. I learned after exposing everything, that no plastic surgery would happen. The cameras caught it all. And I started drinking to cope with the depression. I started eating junk food. I had nobody to turn to. I gained 28lbs. Now, I've started counseling. I'm rebuilding my life. Today, I'm starting this journey again. 53lbs to my goal. Feels like a mountain and I wake up every day feeling like I can not do this. But I have to keep trying. I need encouragement, advice...anything.

Scheduled for RNY on July 8th. Start my liquid diet on June 24th, which I'm dreading 😬 My birthday is July 3rd, so I'm slightly bummed about not being able to do my usual dinner and cake, but that's part of the journey. Makes me wonder where I'll be at for my birthday next year. I'm so nervous, but so excited at the same time!

Superman, everyone likes naturally pretty or cute girls. That's the problem. Our society places high value on physical beauty, and not everyone is naturally pretty or cute. By your own admission, you like pretty and cute - not plain or less than average. Women know this and they want to be more attractive......... which is why they have the surgeries. Most women who have plastic surgery do not do it because they "feel they need to be fake." They do it because they feel their bodies need some intervention to meet societal standards of beauty.

Maybe some slippers or slip on shoes that are comfy and easy to walk in for walking the halls after surgery.

My new date is July 22nd! My original date was May 18th but they canceled the day of my preop
I was provided that date two months prior and they flew by. Here I am waiting another two months and hoping it fly's by again!

Had my RNY gastric bypass 2 days ago. I’m home and other sore I’m doing pretty good. Hang in there everyone your time is coming and it will be worth the wait in the end. Best of luck to everyone!

My surgery has finally been rescheduled for June 16 - so, a two-month delay almost to the day (original date was April 14). Yay!

My family is now binging on Supernatural! I didn’t think I would like it but I am completely now obsessed and enjoying every minute. The best part is there is 15 yrs worth of seasons to watch. Yes bring on the weird crazy and unusual on I here and ready!

So sorry! I don’t know if they are doing visits of any kind but my drs use these to there about an hr away from u but train station is literally two blocks from red bank office of one.

Yes yes yes! The state of New Jersey is officially open for Elective Surgery as of May 26, 2020. Yes I am so excited. Finally hopefully they will call to schedule my surgery for an earlier date but if not it should happen on July 7. Yes! Very happy today. 🙂 Oh happy a Day!

Damn! Wow I give you soooooo much credit. I know I couldn’t do that diet. Not even for a day let alone 2 weeks. That has got to be the craziest diet. I can’t do it for a few reasons. I’m allergic to dairy and I’m a vegetarian.

Good luck I hope it all works out. Our governor in NJ just extended the state of emergency lock down by another 30 days. I really would like him to stick his data determines dates where the sun don’t shine. I mean I don’t mind staying home but I really would like him to lift elective surgery.
